What I liked here is fast web shop based on Magento - even on shared account. It was so fast. Then I liked it so much the personal touch in support communication. I talked with Chris as normal regular guy not an company. This was for me superb experience and although he did not succeed in my needs for payment gateway (eventually I needed to move to another host) his effort was amazing. Also when you are talking with 'persona' you will get straight answers not an masked responses to avoid real true. For all Magento self one man band IT guys I definitely recommend HostXNow on shared account.
I've always been happy with the level of service offered by HostXNow. Whenever I need to talk to someone, I know Chris will be close at hand! Speed and uptime are extremely good and I'm very happy with the "can do" atitude. I've left plenty of hosting companies in the past because of their lack of knowledge/service - HostXNow is definitely different! A light tech note for those who may be interested. I've found that my websites return ping times of about 8ms on my connection (hosted at BlueSquare in Reading, UK). This is obviously pretty exceptional so I'm delighted to say the least.
The move to Host X was extremely easy, moving from shared hosting to semi-dedicated. They did everything. The popularity/traffic of the website has been a surprise and keeping the site up had been a problem. HostX have been greta at solving these problems. Though it did cost more than we originally hoped. We have not had a problem since.
I have NEVER been so pleased with a company. Thank you Chris. I registered on a Sunday at about 11am and had an issue with something, I don't even remember exactly, I was wanting to move over a couple of sites from Arvixe because they have the WORST customer service in the world, but I won't go into that here, I don't want to spoil it for Chris. Anyways. I got on the chat, now mind you, I registered for the cheap plan on a monthly basis and then took the 50% discount. I think I paid like less than 2GBP to get started only because I got such poor customer support at my last "2" long term hosts and I didn't want to take a chance. I got on the chat and Chris was right there, in fact to make a real long story short(we spent the entire afternoon chatting and emailing back and forth. Over 50 pieces of communication), Chris moved 2 sites, gave me a nice little 'bonus' to my service plan because i needed something a little more flexible and Earned a Customer For Life! I will be bringing ALL of my clients and friends websites to HostXNow. Chris, A+ My Friend. A+.
