Max was amazing at my daughters 7th birthday. All the kids loved him and he had a brilliant range of activities including some fab magic tricks. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks for making Abigail’s party so fun ? .

What a brilliant DJ! Max provided a very professional service, great correspondence beforehand, excellent website, so I felt reassured (as I had never had a professional DJ for a party before). On the night he turned up an hour early to set up and had loads of decks and lights and played great music all night. Really read the crowd well and had everyone dancing to late into the evening. Would definitely use him again and will never attempt to DIY again!

Max was the DJ at our school for our Year 6 Leavers’ disco. The children absolutely loved it and had a fantastic time. The children said: we loved the snow machine, the boys vs girls dance competition and being able to give requests! We will definitely be using Max for his DJ-ing services in the future! Thanks Max!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Max at Hoopstar for providing the entertainment for my sons 4th birthday party yesterday. It was a fantastic success! He managed to keep 30 3-4 year olds (&their parents! ) entertained and engaged the whole way through! Everyone commented on how great the entertainment was and what a fab party host Max was. The kids had so much fun and so much variety- we had bubbles, foam, games, music, props, magic and so much more! My son didn’t want his party to end! We hired Max to entertain a large group of 5 year old girls for our daughter's 5th Birthday. What a hit! Max listened to what we wanted. He was punctual, professional and above all he delivered absolutely brilliant entertainment. He kept the children engaged. He was fun. Many of the adult guests commented that he was excellent. We share that view. Thank you Max. We had an amazing party.

I’ve just celebrated my 50th Birthday and Max was our DJ for the night! We had a fantastic time and everyone said how great the music was, he certainly kept the party flowing! Max was completely professional from start to finish replying promptly to any emails/enquires. On the night everything was great and hassle free! I would highly recommend Max for any occasion - what a great night!

Firstly, thank you to the team at Hoopstar Entertainment! We had Adam as our Entertainer at my boy's 8th birthday party. And went with the Kidz Disco package, which was amazing. The kids were truly engaged with games, dancing, bubbles, magic show, great disco lights, competitions and even balloon modelling as prizes! Luke was so happy with his party, and enjoyed it so much and The snow machine went down a storm. Adam was full of energy, enthusiastic and made sure my boy and his friends had the best time. Will be hiring again for sure in the future. I highly recommend!

Hoopstar entertainment did a wonderful job at my daughter’s 6th birthday party. Max was brilliant- communication before the event was very good and he went above and beyond to provide ‘Cinderella’ to sing at the party. He kept all the kids and even the parents entertained from beginning to end with so many props including bubbles, snow machine, blowup guitars, wigs etc. It was a joint birthday and Max made sure both birthday girls felt really special. The ‘Cinderella’ was so amazing in a beautiful dress and her voice was brilliant. She performed Disney songs and we didn’t even ask for that- so grateful and my daughter was so ecstatic. I would definitely use Hoopstar again and I highly recommend Max.

Hoopstar entertainment provided both a kids entertainer and a DJ in the evening for my sister in law's 50thbirthday party. Matt the entertainer was fab with the kids even though he had a tough job as the ages ranged between 2 and 10! He somehow managed to keep everyone happy so the adults could relax and mingle while the kids were having a great time. When the party turned into the evening Max came to DJ and again everyone was happy. I had given him jusy 5 sings and he tailored his set around them which was great. Overall I'm really happy with how the night went and the communication between Max and I prior to the event etc. 5 stars will see book again!

I hired Max for my daughter’s 6th birthday celebration. The kids were hooked from the very start till the very end. They all had an amazing afternoon and didn’t want it to end. He had such a wide range of different things to keep them occupied from bubbles, foam, magic, dancing, balloon animals, blow up guitars, wigs the list seemed enlist. Max had so much energy, I couldn’t have asked for anything else. Would definitely recommend he was fantastic. Hope to see him entertaining again in the near future.

We booked Hoopstar to do two school discos; one infants and one junior. The infant disco was mental but Adam coped really well and kept them entertained with games. He adjusted well to the older kids at the junior disco and the teachers were thrilled to have a go at the headset to settle the down at the end. We would 100% book again for our next disco.

Max Hooper is an amzing talented man as he does discos for all ages, childerns parties and other events for your entertainment. Whatever he does he makes sure you enjoy your party or event putting a lot of thought and energy into it.

Max was the DJ at all party over the weekend. I had pretty big reservations about whether a DJ would be able to get a feel for our party which was a mix of age ranges and very different types of people. Max was brilliant and delivered 100% on his promise that we would have a great evening. He was great at reading the room and adapting the music so that everybody found the song that they could say I love this too. Over the evening I saw people that I didn't even know could hear the music toe tapping and in some cases venturing onto the dance floor to show off their moves. It was a sign of Max's skill and understanding that this was possible. There was a universal consensus in the group that the DJ had been amazing which is always a great thing to hear at a party. Max compared some parts of our party where we had need of someone. He was friendly professional and very slick. His set up and breakdown was quick which we appreciate it as it meant we could party to the last moment. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Max or hoop star to anyone he wanted a great party. He has a great way with people and I am sure that young or old he would make your evening amazing. I would 100% recommend him.Moreexpand_more

I booked Hoopstar Entertainment for my daughters' birthday recently, and I have to say it was brilliant. There was such a variety of entertainment laid on by the entertainer, and he was a complete natural with the kids. Because it was a double birthday party, there was a range of ages at the party, but Max took this in his stride and seemed to cater for all the ages from 4-10 years old. The mixture of music quiz, dance competitions, various games and of course the foam and bubble machine were all winners. The next day my kids referred to the DJ/entertainer as The Dude. Thoroughly recommended!
