Many years ago I boarded my beloved dog Rikki in kennels, never again! Yes he was fed and watered, I doubt if he got walked with so many other dogs to care for (despite what they say) but the main reason I personally wouldn't use kennels again is because he came home totally subdued and it took several days to shake off what for him must have been a stressful confusing time kept in a cage instead of the family sofa! I'm not demeaning kennels but it's not for me or my dogs.
