Home Counties Electrical Safety is a small and growing business specialising in PAT testing throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas. Providing a friendly and professional service for all businesses and organisations of all sizes enabling compliance with the electricity at work regulations.

Using the latest computerised PAT testing equipment which is fully calibrated to provide accurate results the City and Guilds qualified engineer will inspect and test all appliances in accordance with the current IEE code of practice guidelines.

Appliance testing at both 240V and 110V can be arranged at a time to suit and all work will be carried out as discretely as possible to avoid any disturbance to guests, clients and staff.

In addition to the testing of portable electrical appliances, minor faults found during the course of the inspection will be repaired and the appliance re-tested.

All minor repairs are carried out free of charge, including the following,

* Replacement of faulty or damaged mains plug (BS1363)
* Replacement of faulty or incorrectly rated fuses.
* Re-wiring of incorrect connections in the mains plug
* Minor repairs requiring less than 10 minutes labour
* Repair to faulty cable grips in the mains plug
* Re -test following repair.
