Holly Andersen Make-up and Hair Artist

I came upon Holly by chance after searching for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding. With 7 people to make up it was proving a difficult task. Then I spoke to Holly and she was very interested to help. I met Holly first in March for a trial and I literally could not believe my eyes. I had never seen my self look so pretty. The hair was exactly as I imagined and somehow created just from my hair. It looked like something from Pinterest. I immediately knew that Holly would be perfect. Holly had all the equipment as well as being punctual and very polite. My mum and I really enjoyed talking through ideas with Holly. In the run up to the big day I had a drama as I couldn't find a nail technician. I emailed Holly in case she knew someone and she said in fact she could come the day before the wedding and do them. This turned into all my bridesmaids and mum wanting the nail treatment and Holly was totally happy to stay almost all evening to do them. She felt like one of the girls as we got prepared. My nails looked incredible and it was lovely to see Holly before the big day. My big day arrived and Holly was prompt and arrived as planned at 7.30 am. We had already agreed a schedule to fit all 7 of us in before my 3pm wedding. With hair and makeup for her to do for each of us. Holly quite simply is amazing. She is so calm and friendly. Totally positive that everything will be on time. We had agreed the styles upfront which really helped. All of my bridesmaids, my mum and of course me looked incredible. I knew Holly was worth every penny. I have worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years and originally thought I would do my own makeup. But having a professional come and do it is the only way. They are calm and know how to make your makeup last and bring out your best features. I'm so glad I chose Holly and anyone debating it should really do it. Save money on something else on the wedding. Honestly this is the best money you will spend. You will be so grateful once you see the pictures! Thank you Holly for making my wedding so special. We asked Holly to be the makeup artist for me, my mother-in-law and two bridesmaids at our wedding in April. She was professional and friendly at the trial and on the wedding day itself. The make up was stunning and gave a photo-quality throughout the whole day and evening. I was over the moon to find someone who captured exactly what we wanted and made the wedding morning great fun, calm and organised. Would never hesitate to recommend Holly!

Holly is incredible! Such a lovely girl and so talented! Great to have a chat and know that you are in safe hands, I have been lucky enough to work in a photography studio with Holly and see her twice a week, it's been so amazing to seeing all the different styles and asking her make up and nail tips :) 10/10.

Holly is such a warm, lovely person who is a brilliant make-up artist, her products are of such high quality and she produces gorgeous make up looks!
