Guided walking holiday, Beaujolais 08 - It was great value for money because just about everything is included in the price which means that in reality you need little spending money once you get there. For me it was a very easy holiday in that I was picked up from the airport, transported around and fed lots of lovely food (fantastic four course meal every evening) so all I had to do was enjoy the great walking and the company. I really ‘switched off’ for a week which is what I’m looking for in a holiday. What impressed me most about the Beaujolais was the variety of scenery, something different every day. One day you were walking among the amazing reds, purples and golds of the vineyards and the next you were looking out on pine forests and terracotta roofed villages dotted around the landscape.
