Wow! …. Just wow! I have no other words for this incredibly talented DJ who I booked for my 30th birthday party. From the first phone call Andy was lovely, friendly and warm to work with and listen to everything I wanted. DJ Andy absolutely smashed it at my party! From the first track to the last, the dance floor was never empty. Andy knew exactly how to read the room, mix the perfect songs and had all ages on the dance floor. 3 month olds - 70 year olds enjoyed themselves. Every song choice felt spot that got everyone screaming, "This is my song! "If you're throwing a party and want it to be legendary, you need and will want DJ Andy. I booked Andy from Herts Events for my friend's 40th birthday party, and I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with - friendly, warm, professional, and incredibly reliable. You could tell straight away that he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. Andy has a real talent for reading the room and tailoring the music perfectly to the crowd and the vibe. His playlist was a brilliant mix of soul, Motown, R&B, cheesy pop, 80s bangers, club classics, garage, reggae and even a bit of rock thrown in - there was literally something for everyone. The dance floor was full all night long, and guests of all ages were up and dancing! His equipment and lighting setup were seriously impressive - everything looked sleek, professional, and added a proper party atmosphere to the venue. One of the highlights of the night was when he got the karaoke going; it was such a fun addition and got everyone involved. You won’t find a DJ in the area better than Andy! He was absolutely insane on our wedding night, we’ve had endless comments on how much our guests enjoyed the music! He spoke with us before our big day regarding what sort of music we wanted and he absolutely nailed it! He really got the party going and gave us the perfect end to our big day! We can’t recommend Andy enough! ? .

Andy was the best DJ we could have possibly asked for on our wedding day. From the first call we had with him we knew he was the one for us. Not only is he a lovely human being, but he is so thorough in preparing with you before the day, communicating at different points throughout the night, and the flow of his set kept us on the dance floor all night. Whatever your occasion, whatever genres of music you want, no matter if it’s eclectic, Andy is an absolute must book! All of our guests raved and said it was the best wedding dance floor they have ever been on, and that’s thanks to Andy! Thank you for everything mate! Wish we could do it all over again :).

Our DJ Andy was extremely helpful in sorting out our playlist and first dance for our small family wedding. Having given him some background on our musical tastes he absolutely nailed it on the night, with ourselves and our guest dancing the night away. I don't recall the dance floor being empty at any point during the evening.

We are so pleased that we booked Andy to DJ at our evening wedding reception on 5th April 2025. From our first enquiry in June 2024 through to the day of the event itself Andy was extremely friendly, helpful, communicative and reassuring while we were making all of our arrangements with the venue. We also hired a band so it was important that Andy was able to work alongside them on the night and liaise with them in the run up to the event - which he did brilliantly. He also made sure to accommodate as many of our guests’ requests as possible which they appreciated. Andy was a joy to have as our dj - he played all our chosen tunes, created a fantastic atmosphere and handled an unplanned emergency with grace and understanding - would highly recommend his services and will definitely use him again.

This is gonna hurt. Not Andy at Herts Events. No, he's going to love it. No, I mean me. It hurts me to have to write and tell you how great he is, how he kept the party jumping all night, was a consummate professional. How he played all the tunes we asked for, at all the right times and kept our diverse crowd happy. It hurts. Why should that hurt me, you ask? Shouldn't I be happy? Well, yes, yes I should. I suppose I am. But, you see, I too, am a wedding DJ, one who was expressly forbidden to play at his own wedding, (reasonable, in hindsight, I guess), but was also instructed that all the other 8 DJs who would be there as guests, should also be allowed to enjoy the occasion and take the night off. How we all laughed and joked and swore that the guy that came with the venue, wouldn't be any good, couldn't be as good as us, would need to be quietly taken aside and told to sit down to let the big boys take over, or taken out to the car, driven to a remote spot… Anyway, you get the idea. But… He was good. He was great. He was flawless and I couldn't be happier that he was the DJ at our wedding. Now, we just need to persuade him to come out to play with us some time! We can’t thank Andy enough for being the DJ at our wedding. All our friends and family loved dancing the night away and Andy was more than happy to play all their requests as well as lots of classics to get everyone dancing the night away! From the first contact, Andy showed how reliable, knowledgeable and professional he was. He took the most random and eclectic of suggestions from us and made them all flow into the absolute best and most fun evening of music! On the night, he checked in with us regarding requests from guests to ensure we had no objections, and when we said we were happy with whatever, he ran with it, resulting in a full dancefloor all night! Absolutely brilliant! Andy himself is a friendly and likeable person and we would not hesitate to use him again.

Andy was absolutely brilliant as DJ for our wedding at Sheene Mill. Prior to the day, we collated a selection of requested songs from our guests so that Andy had an idea of the type of music we and our guests liked (which was a vast range of genres - he definitely had a challenge on his hands). He did a brilliant job of making sure there was something for everyone and would choose the next song based on the reaction to the current song - the floor was FULL all night!
