Complete replacement of a very large and complex late Victorian roof in the Moseley conservation zone. Attentive consultation and sensible advice; competitive quote; dealt with all the planning regulations on our behalf; started and finished on time; polite and friendly tradesmen; the quality of the work is fantastic – the roof and vertical tiling really is a work of art and has transformed the house. It was great to see the pride they took in the work they were doing. Found Hensey Roofing Online - asked them to come round and provide a quote that knocked the socks off the other 2 I had had previously. I tried them out on a small job first which was exceptional and they went above and beyond by undertaking other pieces of roofing work that I had not asked of them. Needless to say I got them in for the big job - a full 35sqm flat roof - which has been undertaken to the highest standard. On time, on budget, showed me all the top quality materials and pictures in progress. Finish is amazing - a first class job at a very, very sensible price. I could not recommend them highly enough. Tidy, respectable, well dressed and genuinely honest. A pleasure to have at the house and I am delighted with the end result - a big thank you to Lee and his team for a job well done!

June 2011 - Complete re-tile (new felt, batons and tiles), chimney re-pointing, replacement guttering and loft insulation. Lee stood out when providing a quotation as personable and helpful. He genuinely listened to our wishes, explained all the options and gave helpful advice. The quality of the work is outstanding (to my untrained eye) and it is clear that real care has been taken. Lee's quote was also 40% cheaper than the other we obtained. His attitude meant we would have used him even if he were more expensive, but this is one of those rare occasions where quality and value are combined. A real rarity: An excellent tradesman.

It's always difficult when trying to choose a reputable tradesman to do work on property these days. Lee and his assistant did an excellent and first class job repointing our roof and even cleaned up afterwards. Definitely recommended.

Having searched and searched for a reputable roofer to undertake some repairs to the roof and chimney I happened to stumble across Hensey Roofing. What impressed me was that this is the only roofing company on the internet with an average review of 5 stars. Having commissioned them to do the work, I can confirm that the work carried out is of an exceptional quality. Lee and his colleague were very prompt, polite and courteous. The work carried out was a pitch roof and two flat roof's,it was all carried out to a very high standard. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Hensey roofing carried out some lead work and tiling for me to produce a weather proof join between an existing first floor roof and the side of a new extension. I was given some good advise about how the job should be done and the quality was excellent. For the first time in the whole project, the friendly tradesman actually cleared up afterwards.
