Welcome to the Hemsworth and District Clay Pigeon Club, Our ground is situated just off the A638 at Hampole, just two miles from junction 38 of the A1(M) A638 Red House Interchange near Doncaster.

As a "Not for Profit club we offer regular competively priced Clay Pigeon Shooting sessions at 10. 00 am on Sunday mornings to the Barnsley, Doncaster and Wakefield areas of South and West Yorkshire.

Our club holds a Section 11(6) Dispensation Certificate, this allows people aged 16 and over who do not have Shotgun Certificates, or guns, to shoot with us and we operate "Have a Go Days" for people who want to try shooting for the first time, and also for those that wish to take up the sport as hobby.

Formed in June 1954 we are one of the oldest Clay Shooting Clubs in Yorkshire that is still owned and operated by it`s members, we operate the club on a “Not For Profit” basis and we accept CASH PAYMENTS only, this helps to keep our prices very competitive, making us much cheaper than commercial shooting grrounds.

From Doncaster and the A1, take the A638 towards Wakefield, After leaving the A1 junction the farm is the first collection of buildings you will see by the roadside on the left-hand side, at the end of the buildings watch for the Stubbs Hall Lakes sign on the left, turn in by the sign.

From the Wakefield direction, take the A638 toward Doncaster, after passing the large warehouse complex (Asda, Next) on the right near South Elmsall, the farm is the first collection of buildings you will encounter by thr roadside on the right-hand side, watch for the Stubbs Hall Lakes sign, located on the right just before the buildings, turn in by the sign.
