Hello Movers

Highly recommend Hello Movers for any home service needs. Their work was efficient, professional, and the quality of service was outstanding. A truly amazing experience.

Two guys turned up, only one of which did most of the work whilst the other stayed on the van to move stuff around. I had to help with taking stuff to van as Khan only got off to help with the heavier, bulkier stuff such as sofas. On the other end I had to call in extra hands as I assumed (quite correctly) that the job was going to take a lot longer with just 1 guy. Realising there were hands on the other side, I arrived to find everything being offloaded and dumped at bottom of stairs to the second floor flat. My family informed me that again, only one guy was helping take some stuff up but mostly they began dumping stuff when they realised there were extra hands. I was reassured everything was off the van when I went looking for container with the tools. This was then found 'under' all their blankets. They joked this wasn't first time something got left behind. Later that night I realised one of my smaller boxes with all my toiletries (inc exp ones) was missing so I couldn't have a shower as no toiletries. I found my passport was also in the same box as I remember putting there last min during packing (needed it to hand for a house sale) not for a second thinking it would go missing. I contacted HelloVans who advised they were told nothing was left on the van (yeah heard that before!) and that I was asked to check van at the end (which I wasn't). They advised if box couldn't be located then they'd have to look to reimburse. I was asked to send screenshots of missing items and prices, which I did. However, upon realising how much the contents were worth, they're claiming that the 'teams' story seems more legit so they won't pay up. Having to report my passport as stolen and have it cancelled. Dodgy as hell. This company uses sub-contractors, their guys were happy to point this out. Anything goes wrong with your move ie missing or damaged items, they'll find an excuse not to reimburse you. Wish I'd paid the extra money to use ANYVAN again, they did my last move, great team and nothing missing or broken. I guess you get what you pay for! BEWARE they're cheap for a reason!Moreexpand_more
