At age 74 my colour image session with Helen was very relaxed and at an easy pace. The makeup part was very effective and gave me ideas on which part of my face to focus for maximum effect, mainly the eyes in my case. I had colours done over 20 years ago so knew what to expect but changes to hair and skin meant that some of those were not really appropriate now, whereas I looked so much better in others Helen showed me. I liked the idea of a 1:1 session rather than a group event so this was ideal and very good value for personal attention. She is still in contact by email so I will be ordering more makeup and am considering a session on image with her.

Had a really fun and informative afternoon. Learned a great deal about what and what does not suit me, also suggesting changes to my rather stayed approach to make up. Two friends took me for a consultation as a birthday surprise and Helen made us extremely welcome. She is very knowledgeable and we all felt comfortable and at ease. She makes a great cuppa too!

I spent two wonderful mornings with Helen doing a full image consultation. The first day we covered makeup and colours. I was surprised to learn that there are so many beautiful colours that I can wear! The second day we had a mini wardrobe review and talked about the most flattering shapes and styles for my body type. It was so easy to work with Helen as she is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend a consultation with Helen!

I cannot thank Helen enough for two amazing sessions - both held in a wonderfully relaxed environment where I felt comfortable and special. Afterwards I couldn't wait for my Pinterest Capsule Wardrobe from Helen so I could hit the shops! Well Helen you will be pleased to know that I shopped with a purpose - didn't need to look at most of the clothes as they either weren't my colour or style. This gave me so much more confidence when shopping. Every item I came home with I totally love - I don't need to take anything back! Today I did as you suggested and went through my existing wardrobe and decided what I really wouldn't wear anymore, realised there were separates that would go together which I hadn't even thought of before and the BEST part…. I have organised my wardrobe into colours! I can see at a glance what goes together and I cannot tell you how chuffed I feel with the new me! What a lovely "surprise " afternoon Helen. I loved the new colours and even hubby commented how my skin looked a much so much warmer. I did my make-up today and found following yesterday's routine very easy. Hopefully in the not too distant future I can come along for a style consultation. Thank you.

I went to Helen for a colour analysis as I am coming up to a "significant birthday" and felt as though I had lost my confidence in how to look my best. We had a really lovely time going through colours and make up. Helen's approach is really kind and caring at the same time as being very professional. She went through colours very thoroughly so that I understood really well. What a difference it makes knowing how to put make up on too! I couldn't wait to get down to sorting out my wardrobe and adding a few new extras! Helen you are marvellous!

My visit was a surprise from my sister and niece. I was very impressed with the consultation and transformation the Helen did. Having compared the photos that were taken at the time (before and after) I can see the transformation. Thanks Helen for 'working on me'.

I recently had a full image consultation with Helen for a number of reasons including a much needed confidence boost and as a present to myself to mark a significant birthday. Helen certainly knows her stuff and gave some superb guidance and advice on make up, colour and clothes, including quite a few surprises which I had never thought of. Helen is extremely kind, patient, warm and welcoming and her studio is a lovely peaceful, quiet environment in which to have a makeover. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for style and make up advice. I also found her prices to be very reasonable. Thank you again Helen.

Thank you Helen for your warmth, kindness, sensitivity and honesty - just what I needed at a crossroads in my life. Feeling much happier in my new colours - some were a total surprise (and are actually those that suit me best I think! ) and others old favourites which I was pleased about. Shopping is becoming so easy, and enjoyable, likewise getting ready in the morning.

Helen, through gentle discussion, was able to extract what it was that I aspired to achieve in both my style and make up. I had two consultations and learnt so much. By the end of session two it all seemed to make such sense! I am now able to face shopping without dread of being overwhelmed by the array of clothes available. I can look at styles, fabrics, and colours (with the help of my trusty swatches), and know instantly whether an item may be suitable for me. Equally, look at something and understand why it is not going to be a great buy for me. Every lady needs a ‘Helen’ once in a while!

Before my session with Helen I was unsure of what colours and shades suited me and found it hard to decide what clothes to buy. Helen has given me confidence in choosing clothes that will make me look good rather than overpowering me and I've now got a handy colour swatch to guide me when out shopping. The makeup session was also very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed being pampered.

Helen created a relaxed, comfortable environmet. She knows her subject well and we came away with useful (and surprising) tips. Very enjoyable and useful, recommend to anyone.

I had a colour consultation with Helen, along with some other friends. We had a lovely afternoon, Helen was very welcoming and explained the whole process step by step. She found the colours that suited us each individually, some of which were expected and others were very surprising but made perfect sense! In addition to the colours Helen also gave us some great make up tips and colour recommendations. We each received a booklet of the specific colours that suited us and since then, I haven't shopped with out my colour swatches! I have found going into shops where there is an overwhelming amount of choice it has made the whole process a lot easier, not to mention you are guaranteed to find something that suits you! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to all people of all ages. :).

Myself and a few friends had a wonderful afternoon with Helen. She took time to help us understand the concepts behind colour me beautiful and answered our many questions. Not only did she demonstrate the colours that we should wear, she also showed us how to apply and choose make up to suit us. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed in the shops or bought those items that you never seem to wear or have anything to go with. Since seeing Helen it has been much easier to make the right decisions on clothing and I can definitely see the benefits. I'm looking forward to much more shopping!

I turned up for my consultation as the result of a conspiracy! A surprise early Xmas gift from my lovely daughter, who had had her consultation with Helen's daughter, and was sure I would benefit from a session with Helen! Once Helen had made sure I wasn't feeling under pressure, and was quite happy to devote the next 2 hours to self-improvement, I placed myself in her hands,enjoyed a make-up session, followed by the colour try-outs. A few surprises, all good, and a recommendation to ditch the black! Maybe I should explain that I am well north of 60, and usually spend my days in very casual gear - but what Helen showed me was how it is possible to revitalise your look with a little effort and not too much expense. I have since hunted for the "right" colours in make-up, so far with no success - so there's a handy gift suggestion for my family! (I was not able to give a VFM rating, as it was a present).

My session with Helen was wonderful! I wasn't sure what to expect and I was pretty certain I knew what colours suited me, but it was revelation. Helen explained how different colours suit different people and used her expert judgement to make recommendations. I was blown away by how just a small change could make a big difference. It was a joy to see myself in 'my colours'. I used my colours when shopping for a dress for an event I was hosting and it made the experience a joy (I'm not a big shopper usually! ) I got so many compliments on the dress I was wearing and I know I wouldn't have picked it before having my colours done. Helen did my colours last summer and I am a complete convert! Helen did a great job showing me which colours suited me and which to avoid. Discovering I could wear a whole new set of colours was fab and has made my wardrobe and brighter and happier place to be. And I am never without my 'natural' lip liner/lip colour. A must for any warm and deeps! Thank you.

My session with Helen was an utter revelation. She introduced me to colours and styles I'd never considered wearing - and since the consultation I've never had so many compliments, so she clearly knows her stuff! Not only was it eye opening, it was also great fun and Helen couldn't have been more kind and friendly. I'd always been nervous to see an image consultant but she put me at ease straight away. I will be going back to Helen for personal shopping and wardrobe weeding and sending all my friends and family so that they can feel as good as I do!
