Hart's Waste Consulting offer permitting support from applying for Waste Exemptions through to full waste management licence / Environmental Permit applications.


Applying for any kind of site waste license can be daunting, which is why we work with you to establish your future plans to get it right first time.

If you operate a permitted waste activity you must have appropriately qualified managers who are members of a government approved technical competence scheme. There are two schemes the Environment Agency will accept:

CIWM and WAMITAB.

EU Skills and the Environmental Services Association (ESA).


In order to apply for and keep an Environmental Permit you must demonstrate technical competence to carry out your operations. Having a Technically Competent Manager (TCM) forms part of this competence.


Hart's Waste Consultancy can offer you temporary or on going TCM cover for your site.
