I like this place because it has a lot of selection of unique rings. I've never seen anything like the ring I have, and I get so many compliments on it. They will spend time with you and let you look at all the styles you want. Prices are usually reasonable, and you can often negotiate.

I first used HKJ when Harriet was a one woman band and melted some old gold to create a stunning bespoke and chunky ring. I then pointed my boyfriend in her direction (2005) when the relationship became serious as no other jeweller would do! The bespoke engagement ring and wedding bands are beautiful and extra special knowing they are unique. Her team then created a stunning pendant out of more melted gold adding diamonds from a broken heirloom which I adore. They have worked with another designer to create a bracelet that incorporates hair from my favourite horse and when my mother passed away went through the items and advised which could be brought back to life (they have and are wonderful) and what alternatives there could be for the remaining items. Every friend I have recommended to HKJ have been delighted and returned for further work. 5 Stars from Essex and us!

After several failed attempts in the U. S. A. To have an amber ring commissioned, we found Harriet Kelsall online and were connected with Laurie, who was so excited to make our dream of a bespoke green amber engagement ring a reality. Laurie and her team were very flexible with our differing time zones and were very responsive via email and telephone to keep us informed on the design progress every step of the way. The final product is beautiful and a truly unique piece that exceeded all of our expectations! My fiancée loves it! I worked with Laurie to design my now fiancé’s vintage style engagement ring. She was absolutely brilliant through every stage of the creative process, from sending me sketches to phoning me with updates whenever was best for me. I was dreading trawling jewellery shops on my days off to find the right engagement ring- I know nothing about jewellery and I hate shopping. Getting it made with this company was the best decision I made. I could email back and forth in the evenings. I just described my girlfriend and they knew exactly what I wanted, helped me develop the design and gave excellent advice- I got a totally unique ring made that everyone has commented on. The finance was taken aback at how much effort she felt I put in (it was really thanks to Chloe at HK) and I even surprised myself- never imagined I'd end up designing a bit of jewellery. It was really straightforward and surprisingly fun. Honestly you're daft if you get your ring in a shop- do it this way and you will end up with the best customer service, a fantastic end product and a delighted fiancée.

I could not be happier with my engagement ring that was designed and created specially for me by Laurie at Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process - right from the initial phone conversations to visiting the studio and to the final reveal! I really wanted a classic, leaf-inspired design to reflect the place where my fiance proposed and contacted HK after discovering a lack of suitable High Street offerings. A brilliant experience, from the customer service to the final product. I had an engagement ring made for my fiancee. It was designed by myself with the help of Laurie McGrath who was a huge help in designing and making the ring look perfect. My fiancee could not be happier than the ring, it has really exceeded mine and her expectations. Poor design and multiple changes of staff during design process led to inadequate result! Very disappointed with final rings, company refused to refund. Overpriced and got laughed at buy subsequent jewellery designer and makers when we looked at whether we could sell the rings on!

I would now never go anywhere else other than to Harriet Kelsall for any jewellery needs I may have. In 2011 they designed and made my beautiful wedding ring, then in 2013 they helped Ian to design and then made my Eternity ring to celebrate my 1st Child's birth, and now in 2015 they have outdone themselves with the design and production of my newest beautiful ring to commemorate my beloved Granny who passed away this year. Chloe has been outstanding with her service and communication since I first got in touch, and sent me a drawing which matched my brief perfectly. I waited with anticipation whilst my ring was being made and was so excited when Chloe contacted me to say it was on it's way and she couldn't wait for me to see it. I was not disappointed, and promptly burst into happy tears. It is exactly what I was after and is so so beautiful, even now I often just stare at it. I am absolutely in love with it, it is just what I imagined it would be like, with offset Ivy leaves set with individual deep Ivy green tourmalines, thank you so so much for making it perfect.

Had a bespoke eternity ring made for my wife's 40th Birthday with ours and our kids birthstones worked in. Sarah Dilley took on the commission and was exceptional and got my idea exactly and helped me make it work to the cost I wanted to spend. Could not be faulted. Sarah and I even had to concoct a cunning plan to get my wife's wedding and engagement ring from her to make sure the size and the fit could be made. Everything from start to seeing my wife's face when she opened the box on Saturday was a pleasure. Thanks Sarah and the team.

I was looking for a bespoke engagement ring as I couldn't quite find what I was looking for elsewhere. I also needed some guidance through the process and thought Laurie was extremely helpful in talking me through some initial design ideas. She came up with excellent illustrative examples of what I was looking for and after suggesting some minor amendments we agreed to proceed. Great communication and my fiancé loved the final product. Excellent detailed design clearly made by highly skilled professionals. I would definitely recommend.

I wanted some bespoke cufflinks made to give to my fiancé on our wedding day. I approached several jewellers but I chose Harriet Kelsall as Sarah Dilley (the designer) got behind the idea, was extremely supportive and provided great suggestions and feedback. She also shared her design before I had to commit to anything, which was important for me and something other designers were unwilling to do. I was kept updated with progress and am really pleased with the final results.

After extensive research for a bespoke engagement ring, and a look through those produced by HK Jewellery, I knew this was the designer to use. Having never designed one of these before and with my own crazy urge to want every single design facet included, it was so refreshing for Sarah to help me filter out those which would make a truly unique engagement ring for a 'very particular' fiancé to be! Her communication and commitment were remarkable, and her discretion with emails allowed me to keep the entire process a secret until the big day. Due to my own busy work schedule, I could only manage two appointments to design and collect the finished ring, but Sarah ensured that all design ideas, drawings and a paper mock up of the ring were sent to me via e-mail which was both very convenient and helpful along with various updates regarding the stages of production. I was trying to create a complex design on a thin frame that was both unique and enough to hold the peculiar ‘marquis’ shaped diamond with two halos of sapphires, with detail to the shoulders and also include some aspects of the lattice girder construction of one of Paris' famous landmarks. This entire ring sounded like a complete piece of fiction until HK made it a reality with a stunning engagement ring which exceeded all of my expectations and left my girlfriend in awe when I proposed. Sarah was very helpful in suggesting alternative stones, finishes and styles so this ring would be truly unique; for example, I was not even aware that 'white sapphires' even existed! Everything was completed on time and they produced not just an engagement ring but a true work of art which turns heads and for me will forever encapsulate this special moment. I have never, nor will ever, see anything like it! Sarah was also able to assist with suggestions for wedding band ideas that would befit the ring so as to not make it too overwhelming and doubtless to say I will be returning to create the perfect band. I was thoroughly impressed with the service and craftsmanship from HK and they could not have been more helpful, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who really wants to create a memorable bespoke ring like no other.Moreexpand_more

My wife has been keen on an eternity ring for quite a long time and following the birth of our first child, it seemed like a good opportunity to take the plunge. Having found Harriet Kelsall and enquired, we made the trip from the south coast to have a consultation with Laurie. Having been taken through a number of options, we opted for re-using a ring that belonged to my wife’s great-gran as the basis for the ring and add some stones all the way around. Laurie was really good and showed us the different types of stones and was also realistic about any issues that could come up if we decided to use bigger stones. In the end, we went away to have a think and after *some* thought, gave the go-ahead to create the eternity ring. I spoke with Chloe a few times as the weeks went on and was impressed with the speed from the time the work on the ring commenced to the time it was in my possession. The ring is indeed a special creation and given that we've re-used an existing ring, will be completely unique. Thank you Laurie, Chloe and the rest of the team. Wow! I struck gold with this Company, they have been incredible. I had a wild idea for a beautiful memory ring, with gems of my choosing and a shape unique to my vision. And I am now wearing that very ring. And I love it. I did a lot of research once the idea took hold and Harriet Kelsall came up again and again. I loved the look of their designs and spent hours on their site dreaming of what might be. It was a risk, who are they, are they a reputable company? I am so glad I took that risk and followed my instinct. Rarely have I come across such incredible customer service, right from the first initial enquiry, all the way through to the actual collection in person (and what a gorgeous studio mught I add, surrounded by lovely countryside). I had contact with them both by phone and e-mail and finally in person, and all my queries and questions were dealt with quickly and with all the detail I could wish for. They took on board my idea, then guided me through gem size, dimensions, metals, engraving, the lot. And now I am wearing that wonderful ring and all I can see is the true craftsmanship and care that has gone into making it for me. It is unique and I will treasure the whole experience. I wanted a special ring for my wife for our Ruby wedding anniversary. I could not see anything I really liked in shops. My daughter and I made contact with Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, Cambridge. Living in Northern Ireland I could not conveniently visit their premises but this proved not to be a problem. We discussed our ideas with Jemma Newlove who offered great advice, sent us suggestions about stones to use, the band, spacing and even very useful drawings for us to consider. My wife has never been SO delighted with any gift I have bought for her! The ring made for us matches and fits perfectly with her other rings. The weight, workmanship - the beauty of the ring - all surprised me. I expected to pay a fortune for such a beautiful, bespoke item but the price was very reasonable. We think it was much better value than we might have experienced in most high street shops. And such delightful and professional service.
