I went to the Queen Street's branch this morning and wasn't sure what to go for as I have a very curly hair. I was so lucky to have Drew there! He literally transformed my hair and made my life easier with a beautiful haircut that defined my culs and made me feel lighter with a new cut. Thank you Drew for being so professional, friendly and creative!

Went for a restyle but was not sure what I wanted. Left it completely up to Drew and he was awesome! He explained clearly what he was going to do and took the time to listen and answer any questions. Absolutely love my hair! Will definitely be returning to have my hair cut by Drew.

I've been visiting the Cwmbran Salon for over a year now and the service is just second to none. From Reception, to consultation, to wash, to cut is flawless. Jess at Cwmbran is superb and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my head of curls.

Visiting family in Wales and needed a haircut. Damian at GC Cwmbran salon did an amazing job. Friendly reception on first entering the salon before receiving a First Class service from Damian. Professional, friendly and very knowledgable with explanations and recommendations resulting in a superior cut and finish. THANKYOU!

First time visiting had consultation on 07/4/2017 discussed what I wanted with Jenny (senior colourist ) city road was told they would be able to do Tuesday, rang up on 11/4/2017 being Tuesday, spoke to the receptionist if they could fit me in today took my contact details asked what I was having done told them bayalage, toner, oplex blow dry, I even said I can speak to Jenny, receptionist insisted she could do it, they said they could fit me in be at the salon for 1pm, arrived for appointment soon as I got there was told might not be able to do this today after going through what I wanted again was confirmed they wouldn't be able to do my colour today. So I asked why didn't you inform me I've just came down here for nothing and I don't live locally, I was expecting to get my hair done today, then Jenny being passive aggressive with me said I tried to fit myself in, as in its my fault, then she said they tried to contact me but they didn't have my number despite given it to the receptionist twice. Very unprofessional blaming the cilent when it was your receptionists fault for not taking details down correctly if you didn't have the time to fit me in you should of told me before hand. Made up my mind then and there would not recommend, I will spend my £130 plus somewhere else where I'm treated with respect and friendliness and not to mention when you make a mistake what procedure do you offer the client, because you'll happily take a £20 deposit if you get no turn ups, but that doesn't work the other way round when wasting a clients time ? No apology from any of the staff for their cock up. I had a lucky escape booked in with Ocean instead. Staying well away.

The Bay Salon is my favourite out of all of the Guy christian salons, although I love them all! I have moved to London and still can't find a salon that comes up anywhere near the service you get at GC salon! Please can you open a salon in London soon? ! So that I don't have to drive all the way back to wales to get my hair done! …. Pretty please!

I have visited the bay and city rd salon, both of which are excellent. I have always been happy with my colour and cut. Recently I was having a bad day, so decided to have my hair done to cheer myself up. Kayleigh was so lovely and couldn't do enough for me and I loved my new colour. Yes it's not cheap, but if you want a good experience and quality, it's the best place to go. Thank you Kayleigh.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I thought it was appropriate, as Jay is such a good hair dressing! When he cuts my hair I always leave the salon feeling beautiful, no matter how drastic the change is. He is also easy company, and although he is out of my price range…… he is worth spending the extra money!

I have just had a new set of extensions put in by Andrea and although I very rarely write reviews this time I just have to as she has done an amazing job and I cannot thank her and the team at GC enough. I love coming to the salon as everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you the whole experience is wonderful and I really would not hesitate in recommending them. This salon in my opinion its the best salon in Cardiff in fact the best in Wales. Look forward to seeing you all again very soon. Elizabeth.

I visited the bay salon yesterday for the first time after reading good reviews and I had the best experience from a salon in a long time. The staff were all really friendly and I had a lovely colour by Jenny who recommended a treatment for my hair which was amazing and then Sarah cut my hair and for the first time ever I came away with exactly what I'd hoped for. I love my new hairstyle and will definitely be back.

Absolutely thrilled with the cut I had today. Abi did a fantastic job, she was friendly, fun and really talented! Can't wait to go out and show off my new look!

Literally the best haircut I've ever had. Christian was professional, had such attention to detail. He is the first hair dresser to acknowledge my partly shaved head and not run away, comb between legs. I won't be going anywhere else.

I came here for the third time last week and have to say that I'm so impressed with the service of the guys here. They listen to what you tell them before delivering just what you're after, every time. I have my hair coloured and cut and it's spot on each time. I'm now considering having Hair Extensions too, so I'll keep you posted.

Since moving to Cardiff 2 years ago, I always get my haircut here. The staff are always really professional and welcoming. I have had my hair cut by 4 of the staff here. And I can say I have always come away very happy with my haircut. I go in not knowing what I want but somehow they always to give me a good cut and style to suit me. Definitely recommended and will continue to use.

I've never stayed this loyal to a hairdresser and dare not leave now! I always leave with hair I love. The reward system is generous as is the Christmas bonus - and I don't even work there! I've been going since the place opened and recommend it to everyone. As the man himself says, I have Big Love for this place!

I've been around when it comes to different hairdressers in Cardiff and it wasn't until I found Guy Christian that I've stuck with one for longer than a couple of months. I've been going now for about a year an a half and I can say hand on heart I've never come out disappointed. Your first point of contact is reception and the girl, sorry don't know her name, is lovely. Straight way your treated to good customer service by her taking your coat and an offer of a drink. You then sit in the cosy waiting area where there are many books for you to go through if you wanted to pass the time. Stylist wise there I've seen a few of them and their all amazing and they will work with you and listen to your needs unlike other places that will just nod and then you come out with something different. They have a top-notch colourist who I've also used as i went from black to blonde for some reason and the results we're awesome. I can't see myself going to another hairdressers anytime soon.

I've been going here for a while now. Christian cuts my hair and I'm always over the moon with the results. He's always got good ideas and I'm pretty easy going so I always get some thing a little more creative. He advises me on the best products to use so I can do it at home as good as it is in the salon. I've recently started having it coloured as well and have to say I LOVE IT! Definatly recommend.

My boyfriend and I have had our hair cut by Aysha (designer) and she gave us very professional service. She was very precise and had good attention to detail. It's a place I would recommend for everyone- from those who want a celebrity look to those who want no nonsense, no frills quality hair cut. Something for eveyone. Overall very pleased.
