Grove Ferry River Trips

We visited Grove Ferry on Friday 29th April and after coffee in the pub went on a trip down the river which had been specially scheduled for our party. The boat is new, sparkling clean, and comfortable. Our skipper was knowledgeable about the local area and the history of the river. We saw many birds including a kingfisher which was the highlight of the trip for many of us. We took snacks and drinks aboard and had a thoroughly relaxing visit down the Stour. I would recommend the trip to anyone and will be happy to repeat our visit hopefully travelling in the opposite direction.

Fantastic value for money, relaxing, informative and a well deserved pie and a pint at the end. Brilliant, keep it up guys.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing, informative and great value trip and would recommend this service to anybody else who wanted to have an up close look at the county's wildlife or a quiet and enjoying time as a family.

We went on the Grove Ferry River boat Trip on Sunday 27th March 2011. I attended with my wife and two children age 4 and 7. The boat trip was very relaxing, and really enjoyable. The guys that run the boat and take you on your journey were really friendly and gave out good information but also gave you enough space to enjoy the sites and sounds on the river. I would recommend this to anyone who has not been on this. When you return there of course is the Pub too and a play area for kids. Matt Hickmott.

Went on a sunday afternoon excursion,the trip was organised informative and very relaxing and stress free, everyone was pleasant and very friendly, would go again.
