Awful company. Reported having Covid and decided not to travel giving plenty of notice to refill seats. Treated us as though we were idiots and showed no care for other customers or us. We travelled or lost our money. No option offered. Luckily for the other travellers, we stayed home. - *This website allows you make comment, the business to respond however they wish and you cannot dispute their comments, however they have twisted the facts. I've been travelling with Greenline from the very beginning, and up until recently, it was a reliable and well-run service. Since the new ownership - an investor based in London with links to housing companies - took over, things have seriously declined. They’ve scrapped most of the long-standing and convenient pick-up points in Stourbridge, Halesowen, and Blackheath, which had worked perfectly for over 12 years. Now, they’ve joined up with a coach company in Wolverhampton and shifted their focus that way, leaving regular customers like myself behind. I’m now looking into other, more suitable coach companies in the Halesowen area. Even other coach company managers I've spoken to have said they can’t see Greenline lasting long if this continues. Very disappointed with the direction Greenline has taken. .
Went to Chatsworth yesterday and the coach wasn't decorated like it usually is for Christmas, no music on the coach. No waste bags on seats and Lyn the " helper" had a face like she'd eaten a lemon and didn't want to be there, so miserable, never spoke, don't usually get this negative vibe on my recent coach trips, The driver and her looked very depressed and fed up.
Just come back from a holiday with greenline. Very enjoyable as usual. However I was disappointed that as previously as it was a Turkey, Tinsel and Halloween trip the coach was not decorated. In the hotel the driver used to participate in our fun entertainment by dressing up in relevant costumes as we all did, but this time apparently when I asked why, he replied that he was not allowed to anymore. He was still available to ask about any problems. I can speak on behalf of most of the people on the coach who as like myself are regular over many years, they also feel the same as myself. Please continue as before , allowing us all to have the most happy enjoyable time.
I have just returned from a mystery trip. 23rd Octiber 24. The venue and quality of the carvery was excellent. Pete our driver, was superb. The following destination to Coventry, was dreadful. A visit to a busy city after a wonderful meal does not mix well. Who goes to Coventry? . First time I have ever felt disappointed.
We were picked up by mini bus from home and transferred to the main coach. We arrived at our hotel the marlborough in Llandudno which was lovely, we had scones and jam and cream and coffee. Greenline coaches are wonderful so clean and drivers can't do enough for you. Looking forward to our next trip with Greenline. We enjoyed every minute. The journey was lovely he took us up the horse shoe pass on our way to Llandudno and the scenery was wonderful.
This coach company is absolutely amazing. I went to Eastbourne in August with my sister. It was the first time we had travelled with them. Pete our driver was fantastic he couldn’t do enough for us. He went above and beyond for everyone. He was a real. Comic too! The coach was immaculate, clean and comfortable. We will definitely travel with them again. Thank you Greenline for making our holiday special.
Traveled to Chester 23rd July with new driver Barry. And he certainly fits green lines policies, friendly, smart, kind, helpful. We had a wonderful time, thank you.
Just arrived back from a fantastic 5 day holiday in Eastbourne supplied by Greenline, my wife and myself could not ask for a more comfortable stay at The Langham Hotel, the food was amazing and the excursions to Brighton and Hastings with the coach driver Paul who kept us all entertained during the journey was something to remember. This was our 2nd trip with Greenline and there will definitely be a 3rd.
Can't fault our driver when we went to Weymouth two weeks ago for the weekend. He was friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Hotel Norfolk on the sea front. The hotel is clean and room was nice. Menu was very limited. , apart from Sunday night. No tea or coffee at evening meal. When I asked for refills of tea and coffee sachets for room I was informed that rooms were not due to be serviced until the next day. My request for more toilet tissue was grudgingly assented to. They left one roll of very cheap loo roll. Food choices for vegetarians were abysmal at both evening meal and breakfast. Not even a veggie sausage so a vegetarian could have a full breakfast. Entertainers were OK. Bar staff friendly. Will use greenline again but not at that hotel.Moreexpand_more
Sir Madam. I would like to review of your services. We were picked up by a mini bus and taken to meet the coach. This man was a good amdassader for you company (did not catch his name ). As we have never been with you before. Now to review our lovely coach was in prestine condition now our Chauffer Peter AkA. Pete. He treated all with great respect. And could not have been in better hands, having been in haulag for 50+ years this man execedd His remit. Alll in all he made our trip to Skebness. A very good memory (and many thanks).
Greenline are fantastic had many great holidays but went to the Marine Hotel Paignton and was disappointed. First night dinner 1/2 rock hard roll, beef was tough mash was runny and only finger full, small amount cabbage and runny gravy. DDesert green rubbard covered in oats with watery custard and I had rock hard chocolate mousse. The rest of the week was ok except for same rolls. They must have had a stand in chef for this Sunday.
Just returned from 7 days in Cromer at the Hotel De Paris with my son who’s 7 and my friend who is a pensioner. We had a fantastic time - first time with Greenline so not sure what to expect but it was brilliant. Would definitely recommend a pick up from home - really the same price as a taxi and the service is excellent our driver even brought our cases in. John the coach driver was absolutely brilliant - having travelled before with Alfa and experiencing a very grumpy driver John was like a breath of fresh air. Great fun and so kind. The hotel us fab - we went for the beach and you couldn’t get a better location - it’s an old building but well kept with lovely character. The restaurant is awesome because every window allows for a seaview it really was fabulous. Food was good lots of choice and they made special food for my son as they don’t run a kids menu. We can’t wait to go with Geeenline again and thank you John for being a great driver and a really good laugh!Moreexpand_more
We have just returned from a holiday with Greenline to the savoy hotel in Skegness and would like to say how much we enjoyed it and thank you to our driver Pete who helped make it such a great time being very friendly and helpful. It is the second time we have travelled with Greenline and enjoyed both and met some lovely people. Have booked again for another holiday later on in the year and can highly recommend Greenline.
Me and my partner Steve returned from our Mystery weekend in Torquay yesterday (16/4/23) and we had an amazing weekend our driver Paul and his wife Julie were both very accomdating pleasant approachable throughout the whole weekend thanks to you both and we will see you again soon. Best Regards Mags and Steve.
Came back yesterday from an unbelievable weekend at Cromer to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. From the moment we got on coach we felt welcome and comfortable by our driver Paul and his wife Julie. That continued for the whole of the weekend. There was never a dull moment and the drivers were excellent ambassadors for Greenline. The hotel was had a impressive position overlooking the sea and pier, the food and and service was first class. The show at Thursford was brilliant and more than our wildest expectations. Over all, it was a perfect break. Thank you Greenline.
