Green Point Garden Design

An excellent all round service. What started out as a contract to replace a dead hedge progressed to include the redesign of our front garden and hardstanding. What had looked like a cross between a derelict railway track and a builders yard has been transformed into a tidy parking area with adjacent cottage garden, filled with traditional English plants ( and an olive tree ! ) and designed for minimal maintenance and maximum year long colour. It was done with no trauma, no mud and no mess ! Not having used a garden designer before we were rather sceptical about the cost and benefit, but it wasn't very expensive and the the entire project was done as a package. We did the digging out but the planting and layout were done well and all the plants were of good quality. Including the new hedge, we haven't lost one plant and two months on the garden looks well established and colourful. Wojciech Perz is a really gifted and enthusiastic designer who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. We have had huge amounts of free advice and ideas and you really feel that he takes the project to heart - its not just another contract but a personal crusade to improve your garden! He has been back several times to check the plants are growing well, clipped and pruned to acheive the effect he wanted and added items at no additional cost as he felt the overall efect would be enhanced. Wojciech is a walking encyclopedia of plants and horticulture and we have enjoyed having him design the garden. Although only working with a small strip of garden due to the requirement to use the area for large vehicles he put a huge amount of thought into what would be possible and practical and came up with a stunning design which included all our requirements. He then put the plan into action and produced a superb result - and all at a highly affordable price. His pricing was clear, there were no surprise 'extras' and we had no concerns about his work. We paid up front for the job after his first design visit and despite having the funds in his account he gave us all the attention and priority we could have asked for. Wojciech was very helpful, he knows so much about plants and garden design options, his advice and guidance has really transformed our garden. I can't praise him enough for the way he talked us through a redesign and planting options. His planting plan service gave us more than we expected and cost us less than we had budgeted.
