Graham Baker had a short career break between1998-2005, working as a quality inspector on military aircraft components before returning to the gas industry to concentrate on training his son George in the gas industry.

Graham was trained by British Gas and passed his City and Guilds with distinction; he was a runner up apprentice of the year in the South West of England. Graham was fitting condensing boilers and computerised home management controls in the late 1980's. Being at the forefront of this technology allowed customers to make enormous savings on their fuel bills. There is so much available now, with solar, heat pumps air source, ground source and so on, it can be a minefield to choose. With just one hard working engineer and a current adult apprentice Graham Baker has a growing team, qualified to a high standard. In my working career I have sucessfully trained 5 qualified gas engineers. Trainng periods will normally take between 3 -5 years with ongoing support to those trained engineers in their working lifetime.
