AOIC - Association of Independent CelebrantsHaving been involved in the funeral industry for over thirty five years as a funeral director I have taken the decision to work part time and concentrate on my work as a funeral celebrant. This is a role I have been fulfilling for a number of years and I feel the time is right for me to focus more on this area of my work.
I feel that my experience as a funeral director and celebrant has allowed me to become sensitive to your needs in this your darkest hour and that I can be a caring and understanding friend to help guide you through this time. I will spend time with you and your family to ensure that the service is exactly to your requirements and that I carry out all of your instructions exactly as you wish.
My greatest wish as a celebrant is that I can ease the burden of grief just a little for those decide to use my service. I take great pride in providing a fitting and dignified tribute to those whose life I have been entrusted in celebrating.
I operate in the Central Belt in Scotland and would be happy to answer any queries which you may have so please feel free to contact me at any time.

Gordon was the celebrant for our dads funeral. From the initial meeting with Gordon to talk about our dad, he was professional, compassionate, friendly and the manner in which he conducts himself, put us at ease instantly. The presentation of the service was fantastic and his appearance in a tartan kilt was both sophisticated and classy. A nicer man you genuinely could not meet.
