About Gordon R McFarlane FBHI
Gordon McFarlane FBHI established the family run Watchmaker and Jeweller in 1962 in Alloa, within the heart of Central Scotland. Gordon McFarlane took over the business from Mr Allan who retired in 1962. Mr Allan succeeded Messrs David Morgan and Andrew Black giving a century and a half of watchmaking tradition within the business, through successive owners. His son Neil McFarlane FGA joined the business in 1990, qualifying not long after as a gemmologist and then took over the business once his father retired. With qualified staff the business is still able to offer a full repair service to watches and jewellery as well as sales of gifts and local artwork in the award winning art gallery, which showcases local arts and crafts from Clackmannanshire and close by.
With fully qualified staff in gemmology the business is able to offer a repair service to most watches, some clocks and virtually all items of jewellery, including a valuation and engraving service. The inhouse workshop only undertakes work for their own customers and does not carry out trade work for other retailers, thereby ensuring undivided attention to the McFarlanes clients. The business is a member of the National Assoc of Jewellers and the Gemmological Assoc of Great Britain, both of which have codes of conduct for their members to abide by.
Featuring Sekonda, Seksy, Accurist and Pulsar Watches, the superb selection of ladies and gents wrist, pocket and pendant watches that are offered by the McFarlanes are fantastic for anyone looking for a new watch. Available in the shop at a wide range of prices, the watches are altered to fit free of charge and can be enjoyed by everybody.0 FreeIndex Reviews
