I had 4 gold rings from family that had passed away and felt it was time to sell them so weigh them on my good scales (if no good scales go to the post office if you want a accurate weight) and came to 16 grams. So went to Gold Traders and the quote I got was way over £600! So sent them that day by special delivery and the next day got the actual price price was only just a bit less and was paid the same day! Great all round.

I am more than pleased with the way my claim was dealt with and the outcome. Very fast acknowledgement of receipt of the claim items and a very quick valuation all on the same day. I asked for a valuation before going ahead with the claim and it was a very detailed breakdown and I ended up with more than I had expected. The payment by BACS was very swift too. Gold Sold: An accumulation of gold jewellery and broken chains, mainly 9ct and some 18ct all sat in the draw never to be worn again. My research led me to Gold Traders. The on- line calculator was very easy to use. Flabbergasted at the value offered, so we travelled 2 hours to Royal Wootton Bassett office. An even higher value reached on the day as they highlighted that I also had a 15ct item. The service was excellent, very professional, a quick and easy experience and payment made overnight. I would definitely use GT again and even try the postal system next time.

The process was easy and expedient. Being local with the funds transferred to me within a few hours was on this occasion of more value than a slightly lower price for gold bullion available from a couple of online dealers who can take up to 5 days or more to pay out after you have posted and insured your package. The service was great during a pre sale telephone call and at their premises. Would use again.

Payment was swift and trouble free. Even better, having also sold a ring to a jeweller (who advised me to sell my other jewellery to a bullion dealer), was the price offered, which was at the top end of what I had expected.
