An excellent service provided. Gary came to do a service of the boiler which was expected to take about an hour to complete. Sadly a part needed replacing and a lot of trouble and time was taken involving trips round Swindon to get the problem fixed. It was completed competently, efficiently and with good humour. I look after my sister from Oxford - she needs 24/7 care due to dementia and down syndrome. Gareth could not have been more helpful with suggestions to help her get a working boiler at a cost far less than British Gas and 3 other plumbers in the area. He went out of his way to investigate avenues and came up with a cost effect way of replacing the 20 year old boiler/flushing the system and working within the boundaries of my sister and her carers. Gareth was recommended to us by our previous plumber who had stopped doing plumbing. We have had occasion to call him once for a boiler that wouldn't light and then some time later for a leak dripping through the ceiling. Both times he contacted us back very quickly and came without any call out fee. His work is top quality at an affordable price. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. The leak through the ceiling needed floor boards taking up and carpet taking up to get to the problem but Gareth put everything back together so it was back to how it was before the leak. Also my Mum and Dad who are in their 70s have also called him out on at least two occasions. Again he came quickly and fixed the problems for a very reasonable price. Gareth is a friendly, honest and reliable engineer. He is always willing to help and makes himself available at a very short notice. Gareth Vose is the most helpful plumber and heating engineer I've ever had. He fitted my boiler over 5 years ago; re-positioned radiators for me, and fitted new ones (after which I recommended him to colleagues, who also found him satisfactory and recommended him to other colleagues). I am updating my review to say that he has since been on the end of a'phone, or got back to me unfailingly and fast, even on a Sunday afternoon(! ), far quicker than a contractor would come out, if I've had a problem. Rarely have these problems been due to the boiler, itself, but usually weather or my electrics cutting out. He has advised and helped me deal with each situation until resolved. He also services my boiler annually, turnng up when scheduled. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have removed one star, which is for the product, not Gareth's workmanship. This is because of a possible design issue with combi boilers in general, that the pipes carrying condensation out seem to freeze in sub-zero temperatures. However, Gareth has told me how to deal with this, so I no longer have a problem with it. Had a burst water main on the driveway which was very worrying. Gareth came out same day and got the pipe repaired very swiftly and with the minimal of disruption of the driveway. Can't thank him enough for his prompt and efficient work. Will definitely be using him again!

Gareth fitted our house with a complete central heating system. He did it within the quote given and earlier than originally planned. He is a man of integrity and reliability. He turned up each day on time and his work ethic is second to non. I have never experienced such excellent service. I recommend him to all.

Gareth changed our old boiler for a combi, and removed the cylinder and tanks from the loft in readiness for a dormer conversion. He provided a quote for the works within a couple of days of seeing the job, and started the following week (we think he may have postponed his own holiday to fit our work in so the builders doing the dormer were not held up). He arrived each morning when he said he would, all the work was carried out with the minimum of fuss, and he cleared up at the end of each day. We will definitely make use of his services again.

Gareth has recently installed new radiators and valves in our house. He arrived @ 8. Ooam precisely as he said he would - how unusual is that! He did an extremely efficient job with the minimum of disruption to us. We do not hesitate in recommending this firm. .

I was dleighted with the service I received from Gareth. He managed to fit me into an already busy day at short notice, and gave me a good indication of when he would be available. He also gave me good advice on where to buy the replacement tap I needed. He was very friendly and helpful, and did the job quickly and with the minimum of fuss. We used GJV for a number of plumbing issues. He did extensive work on our hot water tank. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it, coming back on a few occasions for follow up work. Then we asked Gareth to fit a new bathroom suite. He recommended an excellent bathroom store and because we used his name they gave us a big discount. Our bathroom was a disgusting mess and Gareth completely changed that. He ripped out the old suite and our horrid floor, fitted a new suite, laid a plywood floor ready for new lino and fixed a few odd leaking pipes. All the work was carried out in 2 days so there was minimal disruption to our lives. I would recommend Gareth to anyone looking for a good, reliable, reasonably priced plumber.
