The Job:- Emulsion out ex-airing cupboard and fit new shelves. Date:- 13th July 2016. Result:- Poor quality and expensive. Painting was carried out without any prior preparation of the surfaces. Eg, redundant screw plugs left in place. There were paint marks on the new MDF shelves. (Shelves were fitted before the walls were painted). The shelves are a poor fit. Just called Mike to uninstall my washing machine. I am highly impressed, he came on time and completed his job wholeheartedly and not only that , he also performed additional tasks with no extra financial reward. Mike was recommended by my step-mum who has very high expectations so we were confident that he would do a great job. We had our bathroom completely refurbished and Mike went out of his way to ensure that we were not too inconvenienced (and as a family of 8 that was not easy! ). He worked solidly from arrival at 8. 00 a. M. Until leaving around 6. 00 p. M. And made sure everything was cleared and tidied away at the end of each day. I Have used Mike at Get The Job Done many times over the last 3 years. He has installed a new shower, re-tiled our bathroom, fitted a new toilet, installed kitchen equipment, washer, gas cooker Felled high trees and repaired the flat roof over the hall. At all times Mike has kept his appointments, he always asks the detail of what I want doing and sometimes suggest a better way of achieving my requirements.
