Gengenie Research are family history researchers who specialise in Scottish genealogy. If you are interested in your Scottish ancestry, we can help you locate your family tree.

There are many resources available to research your family tree and trace your ancestry, but you may not have the time to do so. Gengenie Research are professional genealogists based in Scotland who specialise in researching Scottish Roots and ancestry as we are close to Edinburgh’s New Register House which is part of the National Records of Scotland. We also offer local studies in the East Lothian area.

Our Probate or "Heir Hunting" services offer a range of genealogy solutions to help trace missing heirs to Estates which are intestate or where there is a Valid Will but the heirs are missing.
