I have used Alex a few times for sorting out home cinema internet connection, extending wi-fi through the house, advice on solving a slow running PC and most recently help with suspected malware issue. He was an absolute star, helping guide us through options in a stressful situation, to keep a vulnerable family member safe online. He gave us huge reassurance and pitched his explanations at the right level for our technical knowledge (mine low, my wife's possibly even lower! ). A big thanks you and highly recommended.

I bought a new Windows 10 laptop and Alex agreed to load it with all my data and apps from my old Windows 8 machine. PC World offered to do this for me but needed the pcs for 3 days! Alex did it the same day that I called him. He collected the machines, delivered the newly loaded and fully functional new pc back to me and disposed of the old one. Despite the job taking longer than planned, Alex billed as per his quote. Simply outstanding service.

When Alex was given my laptop it was in pretty bad shape and was actually at the point where it wouldn't even power up properly, so I didn't have high expectations. Unfortunately Alex wasn't able bring the laptop back to life. However despite this, due to his obvious enthusiasm and determination he went to great lengths to investigate as to what caused the problem, even providing me with a detailed report as part of the service. To summarise, Alex has fantastic knowledge, for the work put in its great value and I would recommend Geek fix.

Alex provided a fantastic service supporting our company with IT wizardry and liaising with our web designer when we updated our website. He turns up when he says, makes suggestions for the best way forward and generally takes all the hassle out of technology for our company. Hated using my laptop as it was achingly slow. Decided to contact Alex as he lives near to me and got good reviews. Done a good MOT on it and it works a treat now. It's very fast to start up and no longer switches itself off it fancies a sleep! Not avoiding using it any more! Nice one Alex!

Another "call out"! I cannot thank Geek Fix enough - Totally brilliant service! 22/2/1016 Problem. Emailed at 8am, phone call from Alex @ 8. 20 am, he picked up both my son's precious desktop and an ailing laptop at 9. 00 am. Phone call early afternoon with a fix and cost and delivered both back to us late afternoon. (After receiving another call just to clarify issues) I mean, come on, if there is a word that describes more than perfection I would like to know what that is! Thank you so much!

I chose Geek Fix after reading FreeIndex reviews and was so glad I did. I thought my old laptop would have to be replaced when it wouldn't start and flashed the dreaded blue screen. After a brief chat, Alex identified the problem, collected my laptop the same day, replaced the hard drive, made the machine like new and returned it within 2 days. Prompt,efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, skilled, good price - ticks all the boxes! Would definitely recommend Geek Fix - a real find!

I had a failing liquid cooling unit, and apparently the guy who first built my computer was a complete numpty, Alex arrived within 45 mins, after discussing my problem over the phone, presented himself professionally, explaining all the technical details fully. He quoted me 1 hour of labor plus parts to replace the cooling unit with an air cooling tower, he even went to buy the new unit himself as soon as he left my flat, calling me to give me options. He spent well over the 1 hour on my PC (still charged me for 1 hour) while he rebuilt it, stashing the mass of cabling out of the way, to improve airflow. Instead of sounding like an aircraft taking off like it used to, it now purrs like a kitten. Would definitely use nex time for PC problems. If you're worried about letting peopel you dont know near your computer, theres no need. Geek fix is the real deal.
