Gavin Pickle Make Up Artist

I first found out about Gavin when I was searching on Google for local Makeup Artists for my upcoming nuptials! Your makeup is well up there with the dress, so I needed someone who I could trust completely (and more importantly understood me). From the second I met Gavin I was just so unbelievably comfortable with him. He is so professional, yet at the same time warm and friendly (which to me is so important). He listened to my memo, but also gave his professional opinion and added a few tweaks that just gave it that je ne sais quoi…and the results just blew me away. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. He knows his stuff, and is worth his weight in gold. Both my Mum and bridesmaids looked unbelievably stunning also, the bridesmaids want him for their big day now too! Thank you again Gavin, absolute diamond.

5 star service all the way. I don't normally wear makeup but Gavin did my makeup for my wedding in September 2015. Not only did it look flawless but I felt so comfortable wearing it. Gavin's talent is second to none and he makes you feel so at ease. I would definitely recommend Gavin 100% x.

Gavin did my make-up on my wedding day along with 4 bridesmaids and my mom. I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure to have him do our make-up. From the trial through to the day Gavin gave advice, helped with some skin concerns I had, and gave tips on how to ensure my make-up lasted all day! He arrived in plenty of time on the day, remained calm and professional, catered to some changes and did some final touches prior to us leaving for the ceremony. Gavin really listened to what I wanted and I was not disappointed with the results; they were flawless! To top it off Gavin is lovely; my bridesmaids and I can't speak highly enough of him! And have recommended him to friends. My bridesmaids included a pale red head and Asian friend who were both concerned about whether Gavin could cater to their very different skin tones (following previous disasters they'd experienced with other make-up artists); they had no need to worry! Both looked absolutely stunning and were hugely happy with their make-up. My mom being older was also concerned about being too "made-up" but again was absolutely thrilled. Gavin is incredibly friendly, professional and talented. I initially had a trial with him, where he was very calm and excellent at choosing the right colour tones and make up to suit my skin. On the day he arrived in plenty of time and did the make up for me and all my bridesmaids immaculately and also made us all have a laugh whilst we were getting ready as well. I really cannot recommend him highly enough.

Gavin did my make up and 5 bridesmaids for my wedding in October. Gavin went above and beyond at the trial, allowing me to try a few different looks which was much more personal and reassuring than I had expected. On the day he was perfectly punctual, calm and fun. All the girls loved him and the looks he created for them. He was very accommodating if anyone wanted to go back and change anything. The hairdresser also commented on how professional and talented he was. I was thrilled with the complete package.

Gavin was fantastic, friendly professional and very talented. He did my makeup for my wedding in November as well as the mums and bridesmaids. At the trial he was great and I was very happy with the result, he knew what would look good and showed me at different stages so that I could see it. He was great on the day and everyone's make up was stunning. Gavin is very talented and so easy to get on with and work with. I felt confident that the results would be fantastic which they were. Gavin did my makeup for a halloween ball. It was only my second time getting my face done professionally and I could not have been happier. I got exactly the look I wanted. The products were good quality. He asked me about allergies (something my first MUA had neglected to do) and produced a really creative look- I had loads of compliments. Gavin is warm, knowledgeable, creative and passionate about his craft, but above all, very professional. Would definitely use Gavin again. He is fantastic!

Can not recommend Gavin highly enough. He is a fantastic make up artist, he made me and my 5 bridesmaids feel like a million dollars. Having never had my make up done professionally before I was a little nervous but he made me feel really comfortable. I just wish he could do my make up every day!

I contacted Gavin hoping he was available to do my wedding make-up after seeing his fantastic work on his website. I wanted quite a strong look on the day so not your typical wedding make-up and knew Gavin was the right choice from the start. Gavin knew exactly what I was after and did such an amazing job. After working with many Make-up artists in the past I was very impressed with Gavin, he really is super talented! Gavin did mine, my mom and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding day. Makeup was amazing. He is so professional but also makes you feel completely at ease. My mom never wears makeup and was very worried about looking like a clown. However Gavin put her mind at rest and she absolutely loved her makeup. Well what can I say? ! This artist is somewhat amazing. I have never found anything quite as perfect is Gavin's skilfulness. He is a pleasure to be around and simply accommodates everything you ask for. I will be bridesmaid again in May and I booked him for all 7 of the Bridle party 18 months in advance. I couldn't even consider trying anyone else! Perfection.

Gavin did the make up for my wedding and it was absolutely brilliant. Gavin from bespoke bridal make up has done my make-up on 2 occasions where I was a bridesmaid on both.
