About Gary Ombler
For the last twenty odd years I’ve been lucky enough to combine my love of photography, history, transport and architecture.
I pride myself on producing imagery that is both visually stunning and technically precise. You’ll find me obsessing over every aspect of your project – location, lighting, models, angles, depth of field… And I’m just as hot on the retouching and editing as the actual shooting.
I learned my craft before the digital era, but I’m hooked on the control that digital photography gives me. I’m into the details, right down to the last pixel – whatever it takes to get the perfect picture.
Having worked extensively in publishing, design and advertising, I’ve circled the world many times. Photographing everything from warships on exercise, to the historical archives of English Heritage. Industrial interiors, to the armours of Henry VIII in the collection of the Royal Armouries.
On studio shoots I have the time to create painstakingly lit, stunning images that leap off the page. On location, sometimes I have just a few hours to capture the drama of the space and the moment. Whatever the challenge, you’ll find me professional, pragmatic and a pleasure to work with.
From the microscopic to the monolithic, if you want a photographer with a unique creative eye, bags of enthusiasm and a ton of technical know-how, please get in touch.0 FreeIndex Reviews
