From the initial design, to the finishing touches, Alex’s experience in landscape design and decking installation was evident throughout. Alex transformed an area where old trees had been felled into three new raised beds, two flower borders and a small patio/seating area, as well as putting up new panel fencing and replacing rotting sleepers with newlow brick was, all to our specifications which he sketched out. Alex was very pleasant to deal with, discussed elements of the work along the way and worked tidily, carefully and to the agreed timetable. We are very pleased with the results.

A year ago Alex completely redesigned my front garden turning it into a desert themed space including a dry river bed. His design and knowledge enabling him to deliver a superb End result beyond my expectations. He then Returned during the summer to complete the area with some addition works after the removal of some trees. The residents of my small road comment regularly on how amazing it looks and it does. I would recommend Alex to anyone wanting a professional garden project done to budget and programme. I am a very very happy customer. .

Alex and Ben were an amazing team. Alex first came to my garden to assess what works needed to be done - we extended the garden, put up a fence, new turf and patio. He was able to give suggestions as well as listen to what I really wanted. The quote was accurate and given I made no changes to the initial plan, there were no further changes to the cost of the works. Though some would argue he is on the pricier side, I personally thought it is was worth every penny. The work was completed to a very high standard and there was constant communication throughout and we had no troubles. I highly recommend Alex and Ben - you are in safe hands!

Alex did a fantastic job over two days removing our old fence and building our new fence. He took us through what he planned to do beforehand, assured us all the delicate roses and trees would be preserved (which they were), and the end product was a really smart, tidy fence. He was really friendly, smiley and polite too much always goes a long way!

Alex has just completed a total garden reconstruction for us and we are absolutely thrilled. From our first appointment with him to discuss plans, to the moment the garden was finished, Alex was a pleasure to deal with. He was most helpful with regard to designing our garden and was also very open to suggestions, with nothing being too much trouble (he even came to the garden centre with me on numerous occasions to buy plants! ). Alex was reliable and extremely conscientious and his eye for detail was great and the finished garden, is everything we had hoped it would be. Having seen the work Alex and his team had done at my son's house were knew we would use him to completely remodel our overgrown front and back garden. We have been delighted with the result and have received many compliments. Alex has an excellent design eye and knowledge of plants. We had initial ideas and he worked flexibly with us to produce a very pleasing result. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Alex completely re-vamped both our front and rear gardens in October/early November last year. Work was carried out exactly as expected and improvements that were suggested have left us very pleased with the results. Alex designed and built us a new front garden. The final result is all that we could have hoped for and a quality job at a reasonable price. His advice on the design of the new garden, including choice of features, materials and plants was invaluable. Preparing the site was a major job but all went smoothly. It was a pleasure to have Alex working for us.

Rear Garden, Patio and Fencing. Alex and team recently completed a major overhaul of our rear garden, this included fencing, artificial grass, and a new patio area. We had some designs in mind but when Alex came to survey the job, he pointed out some improvements which made a massive difference to the outlook on the finished job. From start to finish everything was carried out professionally, always clean and tidy and even when we decided to change small things, it was absorbed easily into the job thanks to their professionalism I would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending their services.

Alex and his team did a fantastic job in our back garden. Alex was creative in his design and the final result was everything we had good for. Excellent quality and be delighted to recommend him.

Alex and his team did a superb job laying our lawn and building a path using existing materials. Very neat work, and all working areas kept tidy. When adverse weather conditions slowed the job down, Alex worked in the dark under floodlights to make up lost time. All in all, very satisfied. We highly recommend this friendly, hard working service!

Alex and his son worked extremely hard - under very difficult circumstances - to build us a new patio. He also went the "extra mile" by hand cutting stones for the circle due to limited colour choice at the suppliers. There was no extra charge for this. Overall, a lovely outcome at an affordable price - excellent value! We would thoroughly recommend Alex and is company.

Alex and his team carried out a complete redesign and landscape of our entire garden. Alex created a design and upon completion of the work our garden looked exactly like the design Alex created! Alex and his team were courteous, punctual and tidy. The work was completed in line with the agreed budget and GardensDirect have made a garden we intend to spend a great deal of time in. Alex created a new patio and pathway in the back garden of my property in Harlow. He has made a superb job of the work, using really good quality stones, recessed drain covers with a good quality finish. I was pleased with the timeframes from quote to completion. Highly recommended.
