Funkty Dumpty is a professional live wedding and party band offering live funk, soul and pop to a wide variety of clients throughout the UK. The band, which is based in Bristol, began performing in 2004 and has many years experience in the music business.
With the full line-up including 10 full-time professional musicians, Funkty Dumpty entertain all crowds, no matter whom, when or where.
The company is managed by Steve Fulcher who has been focusing on the bands business for many years. Having previously studied at Bath Spa University, Steve Fulcher is adequately trained to oversee the company.
Funkty Dumpty has an expanding network of clients, situated throughout the UK, including weddings, birthdays and corporate parties.
Funkty Dumpty is the ultimate live funk, soul and pop function band. Based in the South West of England, they formed in early 2004, quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best upbeat live wedding bands in the UK. They play nationally and internationally for all types of function from Corporate Events, Music Festivals and University Balls to Birthdays, Weddings and Christmas Parties.
The band is made up of between 6 and 10 full-time, professional musicians who between them have an astounding amount of experience in the live music arena and can entertain any crowd.
With the emphatic vocals and highly acclaimed band and backing singers, they have built up a repertoire of the best of funk, soul, disco and pop classics including Respect, Blame It On The Boogie and Superstition to current hits from artists including Justin Timberlake, Scissor Sisters and Beyoncé.
Funkty Dumpty are a young, fresh-faced yet experienced band of highly talented musicians who have performed with artists as diverse as Pato Banton (singer of 'Baby Come Back') to Ace (Guitarist for Skunk Anansie). The lead singers have a great deal of experience in a variety of acts including fronting a 30 piece big band at the ICC in Birmingham and a performance at the Seaton Jazz Festival along with numerous shows around the UK, whilst the band have been fortunate enough to work with musicians from Feeder, Little Angels and Wishbone Ash, recording with those from The Wailers, The Rumble Strips, Ronan Keating, Darius and Chesney Hawkes.
