Who is behind Frêshare Gardening?

I am David and have the privilege of being the sole owner and employee of Frêshare Gardening based in Bristol.

Around 45 years ago, one of my earliest memories of enjoying plants would have been whilst on holiday at a place called Brean Down, plucking a trumpet shaped flower from a bindweed that was growing up a rusty old chain link fence. As we did back then, I proceeded to "pop" it from its stem and watch it fly into the air, then glide gently to the ground like Mother Natures' version of a parachute.

Little did I know back then, that after 35 year's worth of experience in and around gardening, bindweed, the very same plant that had me mesmerised as a kid, would become one of my top 3 lifelong arch enemies in the garden!

Fast forward to October 2019 and at 53 I decided to set up my very own gardening company.

Although the love/hate relationship remains with bindweed, it has never put me off doing what I love.

I critique my work as if it is being done in my own garden. If I am not 100% satisfied, I stay until I am. This then guarantees my clients' satisfaction.

It really doesn't mater how large or small the job is, I still love working hard and make sure this reflects in my end products.
