French Tutor with Nathalie

Nathalie is an excellent and approachable teacher with a lot of patience and a good sense of humour. She provides help and resources in abundance for whatever you may need. She really boosted my confidence and level of speaking in French and my grades in A level have been improving - my class teacher has noticed this too! I thoroughly enjoyed each lesson with Nathalie and now that my lessons with her are over, I really miss them! She’s the ideal teacher and I would highly recommend her to anybody! I was tutored by Nathalie for over four years throughout my french GCSE and A levels. Without her, I definitely would not have achieved the grades that I did for my exams and in particular the speaking coursework. She was very helpful with correcting my essays and my spoken french, providing meaningful explanations for how to improve. It should also be noted that she is very patient and will provide as much help as is needed when you find a topic difficult. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their french either for leisure or for study as she is very friendly but also has a lot of experience with helping students to prepare for french exams.

Nathalie came to help my daughter with weekly lessons 6 months before GCSEs. She is always prompt and has been really accommodating with fitting lessons around our hectic schedules. More importantly I would rate her as an exceptional tutor. Although my daughter was competent in French she lacked confidence in speaking - she is now happy to chat away to Nathalie in French on a variety of subjects. She has really enjoyed her lessons and is now planning to take A level French as a consequence of the enjoyment she has had from the subject. We are looking forward to welcoming Nathalie back in September for some more tuition.

Nathalie's tuition has been invaluable throughout my French A level. The lessons were always interesting with discussions about present issues in France and grammar practices. Our conversations in French have allowed me to go from being barely able to form sentences, to speaking confidently about a range of issues accurately. I had Nathalie as a tutor for less than a year (7 months to be exact! ) and I saw my A-level French grade improve from a C to a high A. Nathalie went over and beyond to improve my spoken French. My enjoyment of her one to one lessons has been one of the factors that has led me to choose a Modern Languages degree in fact. I would thoroughly recommend Nathalie as a French Tutor because you will not only improve your spoken or written French exponentially, but you will also make a very good friend.

Spent two years working with Nathalie, really improved my spoken French - as a native speaker she really helps to make you more fluent and she knows how to word things in the right way. Very easy to follow and understand, and always lovely to talk to!

Throughout my A level course, Nathalie's help has proved invaluable. The progress that I have made through my weekly speaking lessons with her is astounding. I went from being hardly able to string a sentence together to being able to speak fluently about any one of the topics we studied. She always pushed me to do the best that I could do, something which greatly improved my confidence in my abilities. Furthermore, I enjoyed each and every one of my lessons with her, and am now quite sad that they have ended!

I had French tuition with Nathalie over two years in preparation for my French A-Level. Nathalie helped me during both my GCSE and A levels helping me gain a great grade in both. I would recommend Nathalie to anybody who wants to learn how to speak French as she is great at teaching writing, reading and spoken French in a fun and interesting way by incorporating French films, music and current issues. She is also very helpful when it comes to finding jobs in France as I was interested in working there for a while which I did easily with her help. Her flexibility is great as is her dedication to helping her students - I recommend her highly!

After difficulties with timetabling I was unable to take French for A level and so asked Nathalie if she would tutor me. Not only did I end up getting better marks than those who had lessons in school but I learnt more about France and her culture than I could ever learn from textbooks. Nathalie helped me to find a job in France and introduced me to loads of great French films and musicians, which gave me something that I can talk about with my French friends. Aside from always being punctual, prepared, flexible and professional, I've had hours of great chats in French with Nathalie and would recommend her to anyone who wishes to the French language and culture.
