We are absolutely delighted with the finished product. Jonny ( For Wood Sake ) who designed and built and installed our costume designed fireplace was an absolute super star! His attention to detail, design ideas and perfect precision was flawless. All the tradesman that Jonny brought in to help along the way were all fabulous, in fact we took their details for future projects and will absolutely use Jonny again for his creative and design ideas along with his impeccable support and service. Jonny was asked to re-design our bathroom and was given a strict budget. Not only did he complete the job but came in under budget too. His workmanship is second to none and attention to every detail is outstanding. The best trades person we have ever used. He did all of the plumbing, tiling, lighting and building himself. Great work, thanks Jonny. (Just remember to feed him Jaffa cakes! ) :).

Jonny fitted our new kitchen. It was a big project which involved fitting new units, plumbing in appliances, cutting and fitting the walnut worktops and tiling the walls and floor. We were genuinely impressed by his attention to detail and the resulting quality of his work. What we liked most of all was Jonny's can-do attitude. Every time we encountered a problem, Jonny found a workable and affordable solution. I am very happy to recommend Jonny's work without reservation.

Jonny has carried out a variety of tasks at our office from installing shelving to bespoke joinery. His attention to detail is second to none and he is both friendly and professional. I would certainly recommend Jonny and won’t hesitate to use him in the future.

Jonny has just (amongst other things) installed 70m2 of oak engineered flooring at our new house in Portland. He was already working on another house on the estate and had been recommended to us by the site sales manager. Negotiations on what we needed doing in our house, prices and the programme of works were swift and accurate, so much so that within two weeks of initial contact Jonny had all the materials delivered to site and had started work. By the end of the first week Jonny had completed all the wooden floors to a very high standard, this included removal and refitting of all existing skirting. In addition (and this is the real recommendation) he had arranged for the carpets to be fitted throughput the house, had cut down and refitted all the doors and base unit plinths following floor tiling, installed a new utility room work top and had even gone out of his way to collect some materials when the tilers (who had nothing to do with his element of the works) ran out of adhesive. In summary we got a great job with service that was 2nd to none. Highly recommended. Matt and Maxine Spencer.

Jonny custom built a mirror wardrobe the length of a wall in extremely confined conditions. The workmanship is of the highest standard down to the finest detail. We have never seen anyone work so quickly also very concientious when cleaning after his work. Extremely satisfied.

Jonny is also a master tiler ! I employed Jonny to convert my ensuite to a wet room, he helped me choose suitable tiles and project managed all the subcontractors including the electrician and plumber. He brought a very professional tile cutting machine which he used to manage the tiling around all the odd angles. Great job, we love our new room! Thanks Jonny, highly recommended.

The oak floor that Jonny fitted for me is a work of art. It was a very complicated job, having several stepped areas and awkward corners under the stairs, but he rose to the challenge marvellously, creating a unique and beautiful floor. The work was done on time and I felt entirely happy to entrust my keys to the house to Jonny, as I was not able to be home for much of the fitting time. He left everything very clean and tidy. I recommend his work very highly indeed.

Jonny fitted 54 sq m of oak flooring to a very high standard. A 3 day job turned in to a very long job indeed when he lifted the lounge floor to find absolutely rotten joists and a fire hearth that had to be removed. Nonetheless he carried on constructing a very solid joist frame and finished all the work to a very high standard. We are very impressed and would use him again. Jonny is a very pleasant person and works very cleanly.

Jonny is excellent! He fitted around 100 sq m of engineered oak flooring to my house and went a long way out of his way to ensure a perfect fit. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Jonny decked out my back garden, he seemed to know exactly what he was doing and finished the job in the three days as promised, despite finding unexpected problems along the way. The workmanship is excellent and the finished job was even better than expected at a reasonable price. Most importantly the wife was very impressed and I expect we will be asking Jonny to do more work in the future.

Jonny laid some Solid Wood Company flooring in our kitchen and did a superb job. I am pleased to recommend him without reservation. Our installation, whilst small, ended up being very complicated and yet he persevered through all the difficulties thrown in his path and never faltered in his desire to deliver the perfect job - all compliments I don't regularly give but which are well-deserved in this case. Jonny removed cracked tiles from our main Hallway and replaced with wood. We had previously seen his work at our son's house so knew more or less what to expect but the end result surpassed our hopes by far. Jonny is a meticulous worker, clean and a pleasure to have in one's home. There is no sign that he has been here except for the excellent floor in our hall. I hope we can think of more work for him! His workmanship is of the highest quality: every last detail was done with care and attention, and we are absolutely delighted with the result.
