I have tried previous options with no successi. I decided to try finder monkey as a last resort I am so happy I did. After 41 years of trying to find the person I was looking for they found him within 4 days of me contacting them. We are now in contact with each other. Dave from finder monkey was so caring and professional throughout I couldn't have wished for a better person to help me with the investigation . I would highly recommend finder monkey 100% to anyone.

I contacted FinderMonkey by email for help in searching my father in law's biological family as he was adopted. I told them due to my hearing deficiency, I am unable to use telephone. Dave was very helpful and I gave him informstion regarding adoption papers. Jake found the relatives. My father in law hadn't made up his mind to contact them until two years later after we urged him to contact them. Sue was very helpful in tracing the potential sister and my father in law supplied DNA but sadly it wasn't matched, I thought that's it until I got a surprise email from Sue to say that she and Dave agreed to start again from scratch and few months later Sue contacted the potential sister. This lady didn't want to be contacted but told Sue there is another adopted brother which Sue managed to contact which turned out to be my father in law's full brother. We were all over the moon and my father in law managed to phone him. Could not be happier. FinderMonkey found my sister in record breaking time I had been looking for years and found nothing they wrote to her and it took a while for her to reply because she was away in Spain but then she did and it turns out that she was just worried about getting back in touch after a big family row in the 80s but she was happy to pass on her phone number for me to call her I was nervous but the lady at FinderMonkey talked to me and calmed me down a bit. Now me and my sister talk every day and we are going to meet up after xmas so I would say go for it with FinderMonkey they are worth the money.

Thank you to Jake, Laura and Sue for your help in finding my half siblings. Once they were over the initial shock they decided they would like to find out more and last week we met for the first time and I was made to feel like a part of the family. Cannot thank Findermonkey enough for the support throughout and for their sensitivity to my half siblings when they contacted them as it turned out they knew nothing about my existence. I wish I had found Findermonkey years ago.

Absolutely Shocking service. I had enquired with FinderMonkey way back last December in regards to finding my birth mother, which they duly did within a couple of days, but in all fairness I had given them pretty much every bit of information that they could possibly want other than her address, it then rapidly went downhill from there, all in all I have paid them very nearly £1,000 and they can't tell me anything becuase aparently it is illegal for them to do so and the only times they appear to have done anything is when I have chased them, not once have I been kept in the loop about letters going out or phone calls made, £1,000 to them may be a drop in the ocean but to me it's an extremely large sum of money, and to top it all off it appears that thier no quibble Guarantee isn't applicable to me so I can't get a refund. They have a silly complaints system where they won't deal with it by email even though the complaint has been made by email, it also has to be the person you are complaining about that rings you up to discuss, yes I would love to deal with my own complaints too! So they actually agreed to give me a partial refund on the proviso that I removed my bad review of them (explains how they manage to have so many good reviews and very few bad reviews), they even publicly appologised on Trust pilot as they knew they were in the wrong (they also knew I would take down the review), they promised me that they would keep in contact and keep me informed, which they duly did for all of 3 weeks and then absolutely nothing again for the last two months, now they are ignoring all correspondence and have forced me to look for a different way to find my birth mother. I also notice that they no longer offer a no quibble money back guarantee on their website, I think this speaks volumes in it's self, they now only offer to guarantee to find the exact person you are looking for! If I could give zero stars that's excatly what I would do, as they have violated my trust, not once but twice, sorry FinderMonkey but you won't do it a third time. They have been the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my entire life, and I having spent over twenty years in the motor trade, I have certainly dealt with quite a few unprofessional companies.Moreexpand_more

In Sep 2017 I called FinderMonkey (FM) to help my family to reconnect my son who left us years ago. After first call and first Jake’s email I realized this is not my way and this company may do something to leave us in more negative status, after a lot of emails during a month FM promised to find and locate my son as per my explanations, status, details and request. But unfortunately, they put him in negative position by sending a couple of standard letters which were careless, not in line with our history and in opposition to my request. In result my son did call them and threatened to report to police if they back to him again. In first call to FM in September I explained to Jake that my aim is not just finding his address or even sending standard letter to him, but also, I need someone to encourage him psychologically to back to family, someone who can have effective dialogue with him as a parent or expert person in family subject, face to face or on the phone as shown in videos in their site. I also emphasized that only finding him and sending letter is not my intention because this way has been already tested by a well-known and high-ranking charity “Salvation Army” in 2016, but rejected by my son. The charity services cost me only £45 that I was so happy to help the charity, (only 5 percent of FM expenses! It is strange that for same services, or sending two standard letters! , FA cost is about 20 times more, £897! In FA website still there is less price for UK service!). Jake sent me first email with the detail of their action on 28th Sep, I understood that their way doesn’t help us as it was already tested by the charity in 2016. Furthermore, it may will have negative results if they retest that way. Jake, David and James sent me lots of emails and tried to encourage me to use their services during about one month. In 24th October 2017, after about one month, I again explained all above to Jake on the phone and he promised that they can locate my son for us in response, I was not happy with his verbal confirmation and on same date of 24th October, I forwarded an email to Dave (Head of FM) and copied to Jake and requested them only back to me if they can do the search as explained in the email and mentioned as above, Dave didn’t responded but Jake again reconfirmed on the phone 25th October and responded with a confirmation email. On 26th October again, Jake sent another email and promised to upgrade my contract if I go ahead this week, his email as follow:1. Free upgrade to Head Researcher status – David Oates from BBC1's Family Finders will oversee your whole search. (from me: AFTER PAYMENT AND AFTER 27TH OCT, NEVER I RECIVED HIS FEEDBACK, NEVER HE REPLIED TO MY EMAILS!). 2. Free upgrade to FAST TRACK service – Your search will be started on Monday saving two weeks waiting time. We’ll also fast track any documents we need to order. (from me: JUST ON 3RD NOVEMBER WHEN I CALLED SUE AND PUSHED HER TO TAKE AN ACTION, SHE PROMISED FOR STARTING ON 6TH NOV!). 3. Free upgrade to Full support package - Once we’ve worked out a strategy. We’ll do a weekly update call to you so you know what is happening on your search every step of the way. (from me: NEVER I RECEIVED WEEKLY UPDATE! I CALLED THEM AND SENT EMAILS FOR UPDATE AND TAKING AN ACTION, THIS REPEATED IN MY CALLS AND EMAILS IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2017!).In addition to my emails and calls before and after payment for taking effective and positive action on my son research, again on 11 Dec 2017 I sent an email to Dave who is Head researcher and complained about their action and ask for quick and effective services as promised before payment, unfortunately he never responded to my email as before, part of email as follow:(when I call you or your colleagues and ask to speak nobody is available and I receive a formal response “He/she is in a meeting, will call you back soon” never you back to my calls, I have to call again and again to speak with caseworker Ms Harrison and remind her to take an action. As mentioned above I am not satisfy with your action up to now, I have paid a lot for noting unfortunately, if you don’t change your actions I keep my right to follow it formally through any public or unpublic …).Despite of their emails before payment, which FM were stated that the payment will be in two steps and mentioned on 26th Oct as follow:“Once we have a successful result your final payment of £648 will be processed”.But the final payment deducted quickly in two working days after first payment! They deducted £897 from me! £897 for two standard letters!Is it fair making money from life difficulties of others? Without helping them and putting them in negative position? Is it fair against this great cruelty when I asked FM to correct their action or refund all payments otherwise I will follow the matter by negative and zero star feedback and it will be claimed formally, FM tried stopping me by bullying in the email and threatened to take action against me. I had been searching for my birth mother for 20 years and was initially sceptical that Findermoney could help. It had been 48 years since my adoption and due to be being adopted in Jersey the records were closed. However Findermokey found my mothers family within a month and were were reunited soon after. I used FindrMonkey to trace an old friend. I found them to be professional and helpful. They found him quickly and I was treated with respect. At first I didn't think it was worth doing financially at £500 but after coming out of the other end of the process I can see where the money is used. They really did put alot into the search and now I actually feel its good value for money.

I used this company having read the glowing reviews. I first contacted them in March to find my relative. The lady I spoke to sounded really positive in locating her. Telling me they use the best resources in finding people. I finally decided to go ahead with them It was a big decision because of the cost involved. I wish I had saved my money. They initially told me I would have weekly updates. I didn't. I was constantly calling I was told nobody was available to speak to me and they would get back to me they wouldn't, so again I was calling them. I don't know what research they did for 250.00 but I haven't seen in evidence. Anyway I found her myself by finding her marriage certificate on Ancestry. For professionals you would think this would have been discovered straight away. So obtaining the certificate I was able to locate her on Facebook in the end. Wanted to find wifes realfather. Did not find out no more than I found internetfree. Iknow that they did not have much to go on but ithought what they told me was a waste of my money. Told thati canot get money back because they had spent time looking.

Awesome! Above and beyond expectations! Months of searching everything available in public records, internet searches,etc. Two private investigators and over $1500 spent, and still know address for a loved one I was trying to find in UK. My father asked me to find his son from his first marriage. I didn't have the time to do the finding and so instructed Finder Monkey. Dave took on the case and within 3 days he found my half brother! Thank you for a job well done and money well spent.

I am 33 years old and have been trying to find my biological father for many years. I had tried the Salvation Army, several Internet searches but nothing. Just dead ends. I have found FinderMonkey to be very useful and discrete. I used it to help find my ex for maintenance payments and current/past property's he has owned or lived at. They also supplied me with additional details I wasn't expecting like when property's were sold. When I phoned them they were polite and helpful and I was satified with the speed they turned this around. My resercher Dave was extremely helpful although the acuracy was not always there they are excellent at finding current propety details.
