EXTEND AND IMPROVE REVIEW. The big difference that sets aside Extend and Improve from other builders is the true care for customer attitude. Having been left in a very serious and unsafe mess by a previous builder, Nick and his team put right the many wrongs that had been left by the previous builder, to the point of taking down the half finished extension and starting again. This was not a decision my wife and I made lightly, but we are so glad that we did! Nick and his team have left us with a better looking extension than we ever could of imagined. This is where Nicks knowledge of the building trade along with his wife working hard behind the scenes and the great team they have put together really shine. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, no question went unanswered, no decisions made without us being consulted first. From his attitude towards his business it is clear that Nick not only has extensive knowledge, having been on the tools on site, but has a real passion for what he does and that I believe is what truly sets Extend and Improve apart from other building companies. If you are looking for a builder to do any work at all, weather the smallest building job or a complete house build don’t look any further than Extend and Improve. Extend and Improve built an extension for us and along the way the job turned into a house-renovation as well. Nick and his team did a FANTASTIC job and offered great advice and support. When a problem occurred with the layout (provided by architect), Nick found a solution with which we are more than delighted. We would highly recommend Nick and his team to family and friends!

This was as big project for me as I was using inheritance money, Nick discussed my requirements fully before carrying out any work making sure I was in control of what was happening with my project. Because Nick has a huge team he can project manage plumbing electrics etc to ensure the smooth running of the project. The deadline was for a Christmas completion, there wa a hld up mid way, due to Engineers calculations, and nick and his team ensured tht the deadline finnish date was met. Staying often until past 6. 30 in the evening. I wasn't on site, , however even my neighbours commented on how hard they worked. Extend and improve are excellent workmen working to high standards and are reliable. If you are looking for a cheap bodge job then look else-where. We had a wall removed between kitchen and dining room, internal door blocked up, external door removed and replaced with a window, all new kitchen and appliances fitted. Everything made new(plastering etc). From quote to completion Nick was informative on local building requirements, asked questions to fully understand our requirements. Nick came and checked his contractors work was up to his very high standards. Any changes that could change his quote price was checked with us before going ahead, some jobs quoted for that did not need to be done was taken off the final invoice. His electrical contractor was excellent as well as we needed all new sockets etc. I highly recommend Extend and Improve. I will recommend Nick and Extend and Improve to everyone.

We have just spent 7 months renovating a 1970s house. Nick was recommended to us by a friend. As soon as I met Nick I was impressed by his professionalism and honesty. And once work started his ability to adapt quickly to overcome the many problems that the house threw at him. We had a number of ideas that we want to incorporate and he offered first rate advice on the feasibility or not of some of the more grandiose plans. Quick to sort out any third party contractor issues he obviously cared about the project as much as us. We will be getting him back for our next couple of projects we have planned for the house once he can fit us in. I cannot recommend Nick highly enough, thanks for making it as stress free as you could!

We recently employed E&I to build a window seat for our bay window, Nick was very professional, polite and explained the different fit and finish options that were available to us.  The standard of finish is very good and he clearly takes pride in his work, he even managed to re-use the existing skirting across the front of the seat which was a nice touch. It is refreshing to find someone dependable who can do a high quality job and at fair price too, I would definitely recommend E&I and plan to use them again in the near future.

We employed Extend and Improve to provided various installations in our bespoke Eco house, Nick overcame the challenges for this rare project, providing expert advise and alterations to our original requirements which have made our living better. I recently had a wall which was damageed in an accident rebuilt by Extend and Improve. I was really pleased with the end result and impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the team. I would certainly employ Extend and Improve again.

Nick removed a supporting wall in our 300 year old house to open up the lounge and hallway. Due to the age of the house and lots of previous alterations, it was not entirely straightforward but Nick adapted found solutions with no fuss at all. From the planning stage, right through to completion, communication and service were excellent. The finished result is fantastic, I would not hesitate in recommending him, Nick has resored our faith in builders!

Nick, and his team fitted me a kitchen in a renovation property I have, including all the plumbing a pipe work. Nick's team also diagnosed my central heating system and repaired that too. I would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Nick and his team to anybody who was considering having some work done at a reasonable price and to a professional finish! Thanks Nick.

The work we had done was to a very high standard and carried out quickly and professionally. I was extremely impressed with there attention to detail. The quote given was very reasonable. We would definitely have Nick and Darren back in the future, and would recommend them for any building work needed on your house.

With our second child on the way we needed more space after deciding it was too costly to move to a larger house we decided on an extension to the rear of our property. I had been recommended to Nick by friends who had high praise of the quality of his workmanship. I was delighted by the whole process from start to finish Nick and Darren delivered what they promised in a professional and stress free way producing exactly the extension we wanted.

My husband and I dithered for too long about our kitchen refurbishment. We needed someone to interpret our ideas and make them real. Darren came along and was constant source of honest and professional advice. He helped us create a space that as a family we share and can be together in. The workmanship is detailed and however hard you try no fault can be found. Nick and Darren converted our garage into much wanted additional living space. Nick and Darren's knowledge and advice was invaluable throughout the project - as was their patience with all our questions! Our recently fitted kitchen was carried out by Nick Millet and his asssociate. Their professional advice helped us with its design. The quality of work and attention to detail was superb with no detail left to chance. The construction was carried out efficiently and speedly which, of course, is necessary when a house's kitchen is out of sevice. New kitchen installed from scratch and it's not a small kitchen either. Extend & Improve provided and end-to-end solution to our specification. The plumbing, electrics, painting and tile work was outstanding.

We had an additional room built onto our house by Darren & Nick. Their advise throughout was exceptional and all of the workman who attended site, were professional and a credit to the team. The quality of the work was excellent and we are very happy with the outcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even when kept changing our minds!

After a couple of years pondering 'the new kitchen' dilemma we met Daren by chance. The perfectionist in me was more than happy when we viewed his work first hand. Within weeks our dilemma has become a carefully considered but pain free quotation for a new high spec' family cooking, dining, living area. Four weeks later and Daren and his team had completed the transformation. We were constantly updated and felt at ease with their presence in our home. The results are spectacular, and have changed the way we live in our home. Daren's work has spoken for itself with two of our friends have already used Extend and Improve for themselves! Extend & Improve undertook to build a garden room for us. They designed it, attended to planning permissions, and promised a quick and professional build. They did exactly what they promised. All their craftsmen were vetted. All were friendly and skilled. All were supervised by Daren and Nick such that the finished article is always greeted with approbation by visitors. We were so impressed that we then asked the firm to remodel our bathroom. Again a success. What could have been an unpleasant experience was in fact very enjoyable, and was certainly rewarding.
