Rachel Bowler has a first class degree in Literature obtained in 2003. Her other qualifications include a HNC in Business and Finance, the LCCI Private Secretary's Certificate, City and Guilds Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, and the Publishing Training Centre Grammar at Work qualification. Prior to becoming a proofreader and copy-editor, Rachel worked for fifteen years in the legal and financial services sectors as a senior level PA.

Prior to setting up as a proofreader and copy-editor, Rachel worked for fifteen years in the professional services sector as a senior level PA. Rachel graduated with first class honours in Literature in 2003, and is an advanced user of Microsoft Office, she has a touch-typing speed of 60wpm, and she is a proficient audio typist.

Rachel has been working as a proofreader, copy-editor and writer since 2009.
