Mark Steel and Everything IT were superb to deal with throughout the whole process of trying to recover data from my hard drive. So professional and easy to contact. Mark allowed my repair to be on stand by for months on end whilst waiting for my insurance to get back to me. He even helped give advice. Will definitely be using again in the future. I decided that when I wanted to purchase a new laptop for my business I asked Mark Steel of Everything IT to assist me. With their source and install service it took all the hassle of finding the right one and then comparing it to others when I don't really understand the difference! Mark asked me for what I wanted in my laptop and then proceeded to amaze me with his technical knowledge and informed me that the cheap option was not the best. Mark was very committed to finding me the right laptop with the right software and hardware to ensure that I would not be let down with my business. Their customer support has been second to none and always prompts with the answer to my questions and it was refreshing to talk to the technical staff without having to press 5 different options before getting to the right person. My Sony VAIO had become so slow I was at the point of replacing it. I had tried everything, including a factory install. I then gave it to Mark at Everything IT. MY PC now operates like a brand new machine, and unlike when I did a factory install Mark had kept all the files and software on the machine so I did not even have to spend hours reinstalling it. Mark and the team did an excellent job in cleansing my youngest daughter's laptop of viruses - it was close to 'death'. Also, in restoring the data my other daughter's laptop. In both cases the laptop now work very well. The responsive, friendly and knowledgeable service is superb. I highly recommend them.
My old laptop was struggling, so I bought a new one. I didn't realise that migration from old to new would be so impossible, owing to the enormous changes in IT over the years. Nothing I tried worked. The old computer then died and I still couldn't get the new one to operate satisfactorily. Everything IT did a brilliant job sorting out a very complex set of problems, very quickly. I am happy to recommend them to anyone. I only wish I had known about their computer sourcing and set-up service beforehand, it would have saved a lot of grief.
Mark installed a completely new computer system for me including Dragon naturally speaking software. The customer care was outstanding throughout and Mark found me excellent products at really good prices I was up and running within hours and I am now using the system without any problems. We run a construction business and, like most businesses, require daily use of our office computer, not only for communication but also to undertake the fundamentals of the day-to-day office routine with the pressing need for quotations and tenders to be presented on time and invoices to be processed. Our computer is not that new and was built for us by a local company. We don't know much about the internal workings and were very happy with the system they'd built. Over the months and years the computer became slower and slower and more unreliable due, we thought, to our increasing demands upon it. Eventually its' reluctance to perform started to drive us bonkers. We sent it away a couple of times to companies who advertised locally, what did we know? The computer was returned to us along with invoices with the inference that the troubles had been solved. HARDLY! Then I met Mark Steel of Everyting I. T. We gave Mark the chance and opportunity to sell us a new computer because, we assumed, ours was beyond repair. He would have none of it. He took our computer away on the Friday, worked on it all weekend, keeping us fully updated at all times delivering it back on Monday, working just like a brand new computer. You see, Mark actually genuinely understands the urgency involved when your system is down, he doesn't just pay lip service to it.Mark is always available to talk through any general computing queries. His knowledge is second to none, but he doesn't try to baffle you with the science. Mark Steel of EverythingIT sets himself apart from other IT professionals by not just caring for machines and networks, but also caring for the people who come to him for help. His advice always puts the user first, desiring that every customer leaves happy, having received above-standard service. My dad has been shopping for a new laptop for a long time now. We had a spare one which we wanted to give to him, the only problem was it didn’t really work. So in August, while my dad was here on holiday, I handed Mark the nightmare – a struggling old and very slow laptop. Not only did Mark make it run as ‘good as new’, he also took the trouble to find out what my dad’s every day needs were, and to customise the computer to them. He even added all my dad’s favourite games, going as far as to research and purchase the best Sudoko in the world! My dad is 71 so Mark set the machine up to be very easy to use, ensuring it linked to the internet, email and other core programmes in a flash. And the cherry on top? Mark kindly found us the perfect laptop bag which helped tremendously with my dad’s long haul trip back to South Africa. Laptop destroyed by drink spillage. Everything IT restored and returned it in a better condition then when I bought it. Fantastic friendly and proffesional service and well worth a call. I have already recommended their services to family, friends and clients. As an IT professional myself, I know good service when I see it.
Choosing Everything IT was the best computing-related decision I have ever made! When my laptop decided that it had had enough and the hard drive totally corrupted itself, I turned to Mark. He picked my laptop up that day, gave a very quick diagnosis, and kept me updated as to what was going to happen and how much it was going to cost. Within a few days I had it back working better than ever before! He is extremely friendly, great value-for-money, extremely professional and really knowledgeable. Exceptional is the word that comes to mind to describe the service given by Mark Steel. When my hard drive died, it had on it the most recent version of my novel (that I had failed to back up). Mark saved the day totally and I can't recommend him highly enough. Mark was on hand to rectify a huge issue on my laptop. Before I was introduced to Mark I had an issue that PC World said they would fix. They made it a lot worse. I am a complete ‘technophobe’ where it comes to computers and I’m afraid find myself stressed beyond reason when anything goes wrong, not good when one’s business depends on a functioning one! Before finding Mark Steel, I remember occasions of complete panic and simply not knowing what to do or who to contact; it’s not just a question of picking someone from the phone book when dealing with what amounts to one’s whole livelihood. However, this is now in the past, as Mark is my total computer hero. He is a revelation; he loves dealing with computers, can repair anything and sort out any problem, all with total passion, infectious enthusiasm and delight. He recently took my computer away to overhaul and improve, working well beyond the call of dutyover the weekend and at night to have it back with me to be able to continue my work on time. I am now bordering on actually enjoying working on it as it is so vastly more efficient! Not only that he is always his cheerful self on the end of the phone when I need advice and is incredibly patient; no mean feat when I’m at my most stressed! Mark is totally trustworthy and I have no worries about leaving my business and personal details with him on my computer.
