Ethical Arboriculture Ltd, is an Arboricultural Consultancy practice providing practical solutions to managing trees on development sites, and the wider community.

We provide bespoke arboricultural solutions to the construction industry, local authorities and landowners. Our ethos is to look at the tree and it's surrounding as a whole, and carry out soil assessments alongside visual and scientific tree assessments to determine the most appropriate course of action in an informed manner. Trees on proposed development sites are surveyed in accordance with the guidelines set out in BS5837:2012 and arboricultural impact assessments are prepared alongside tree retention and removal drawings.

We can provide full arboricultural method statements, to satisfy planning conditions, along with the installation of tree protective fencing, arboricultural monitoring and sensitive excavations in rooting areas with an air spade.

In the unfortunate situation where a tree can no longer be retained in it's present position, arrangements can be made for its removal by qualified and well equipped arborists, working to industry best practice guidelines that are set out in BS3998:2010. Tree stumps are removed using a stump grinder, providing a fast, cost effective solution to there removal and disposal.

Replacement trees can be sourced and planted to offset any loss and we offer a full planting service, starting with species selection and scheme design, through to planting and aftercare. We believe that investment in the green infrastructure should go hand in hand with any development project.
