After a last minute change from Nat 5 to IGCSE Susi got me to an A when I was hopeless in English before. Would definitely recommend.

Susi tutored me for Higher English and I managed to get an A even though I had little confidence in English at the start of the year. We covered all aspects of the course while effectively focusing on what needed improving the most. RUAE was my weakest skill so we did a lot of work on it and Susi explained different techniques/question types in a clear way that was easy to understand. I would recommend Susi as a tutor to anyone struggling with English or with low confidence in the subject.

Very helpful for helping me pass higher English.

I worked with Susi for both my National 5 and Higher Exams and she helped me achieve an A in both despite English not being my strongest subject. I found her particularly helpful with RUAE which was an area of weakness for me prior to my lessons with her. She provided constructive feedback and guidance on my folio pieces. Due to the pandemic we had a lot of our sessions on zoom but this did not detract from the effectiveness of her teaching. I would recommend Susi for anyone needing help with their exams or English skills in general.

Susi helped strengthen my weak points, boost my confidence and, with her help, achieve an A grade in both National 5 and Higher English. Susi tutored my daughter through Nat 5 and Higher English. As Covid hit just after the first term of Nat 5 lessons, most of Susi's sessions were done remotely, but this worked really well and Susi's help with coursework (during home schooling) and exam technique was invaluable and helped my daughter to an A pass in both Nat 5 and Higher. I have always found Susi informative and easy to work with and have no hesitation in recommending Susi as a tutor.

Susi was extremely helpful with folio pieces as she gave useful feedback to help me research and introduce new ideas, creating a stronger folio. She helped to advance my knowledge from class as she emphasised the key points that could fit into many different questions. Susi also ensured I was confident with RUAE questions and poetry analysis that I had not been able to grasp in class. Overall, I’m very happy with the work Susi helped me with and she helped to secure my A at higher English.

I was delighted with the service we got from Susi. She was very thorough and tailored lessons to my daughters needs and concentrated on areas she was not confident in. I was even more delighted when she gained an A band one in her higher English!
