Enjoyed the course very much. Phil explained all the concepts thoroughly and taught at a comfortable pace. Couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Seems like a really nice bloke that you could have a couple of pints with as well!
This is a great course and I would recommend to anyone interested in making a career change or developing their understanding of energy performance of domestic properties in the UK.
Charlotte Presented the Online Course Very well. As well as being very knowledgeable Charlotte was patient and friendly and didnt skip a beat in her teaching method. I will say though that because she is good at what she does there were one or too small bits where the speed over some things was a little quick, however Charlotte was more than willing to go over anything anyone missed out or got stuck on … Thank you Charlotte… Youre awesome.
Phil brilliantly taught the course, great sense of humour, explained things well, in an understandable way, very intense course made manageable by him. Learnt how to do an EPC correctly and responsibly being a detective and taking time writing quality notes and taking measurements at the house and spending the next day inputting the notes onto the software to carry out these inspections in a logical and thorough way without cutting corners.
The whole course was delivered brilliantly by a clear example of a professional DEA assessor and I had recognised his name from viewing his previous completed EPCs. The course was enticing and engaging and he is a credit to the course for the assessors qualified after undertaking this course.
I did my dea training 15yrs ago with you guys it was a simple choice to do my commercial course with you. Nicely paced and delivered with a very patient tutor in Richard!
Having initially booked the ABBE Level 3 Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings course with two other providers who I felt let me down very badly I approached Energy Trust to get an idea if I would receive the same level of service, I can honestly say the reassurance given was spot on, the delivery of the course was brilliant and second to none, the examination process is faultless, you have feedback and help on tap. Advice is at hand via prompt email reply or instant phone call. I passed this course and went further with Energy Trust completing ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) and PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment. If you want to achieve the courses I've mentioned then I would say Energy Trust and its staff will be very hard to beat. 10 out 10 from me. .
Our teacher was extremely knowledgeable and very good at answering any questions we had. Although it was a lot to take in the course felt well-paced and was easy to follow. It was nice to have elements of humour in there as well! Would recommend to anyone thinking of becoming an energy assessor.
Very informative and robust. The classroom was quite conducive with lots to munch. The tutors were excellent and very helpful, no question was stupid, they were happy to answer all. Hands-on experience on site facilitating real-world application, it was intense, I enjoyed it and will definitely recommend. Shout out to Richard and Charlie!
I have just completed the Domestic Energy Assessor 5 day classroom course and it has been amazing. Richard and Charlotte made the course so interesting and it was very well planned and explained. Laughs and Learns all week and I can't wait to complete other courses with Energy Trust.
Outstandingly well thought out training that was also brilliantly led. They clearly care about helping our industry to keep improving and about preparing us well to be part of that. I enjoyed it too. Thank you!
