Ena Salon

About 6 weeks ago I had my first and last visit in Ena salon. I was looking forward to this app for a while , as now in pregnancy my hair hasn't been great to be honest and wanted to have a good chop. So I did my research, I follow the salon Instagram page ,everything looked promising, I choose a stylist with 20years of experience and he has as I've seen on his Instagram page loads of curly textured hair clients. Sassoon background, though what can go wrong. Well, let me start from the beginning of actual consultation where I explained what I wanted , so after those 5min me talking, he literally asked " So what do you want ? ! " I felt like leaving then and there. But didn't want to make a scene. After hair wash, my shirt/back got all wet, he totally ignored it and just tucked in a towel. Then the haircut itself, felt inpersonal and lazy. Wasn't at all the cut/layers I asked for. He said he will finish my front of hair, graduation at front once he dries it. Didn't actually do it at all until I asked him what about the front, as I wear long curtain fringe. He just did the right side and didn't even touch the left! Little to say I was in total shock and disbelief what was going on. Such a poor customer service, he seemed so bored and lazy in his job. Not at all passionate in what he was actually doing. He kept talking about his next client after me(as she came 30min early) and how she was some actress and she knows his ex really well. I was so disappointed and sad , bit angry about the whole experience. It was the worst haircut and atmosphere I had ever had in my 37 years of getting my hair done. And payed £120 for thar service. It took me only now to even leave this review as I'm still traumatised. I had to find another alternative and recut and correct my hair and pay for that obviously. I don't want to write the name of my stylist not to shame them but all I can say is just don't bother going as it definitely not worth your money or time.Moreexpand_more

The worst haircut I ever had by Monica… I would need to pay another salon to fix it. Very disappointed. Trying to sell their products during an appointment is very annoying too. Very overpriced for this level of stylist.

I came to Ena salon in September and was given the worst haircut I have ever had. I explained extremely clearly the style and cut I wanted, which was very simple and no other hairdresser has ever had a problem understanding my requested style (all one length with shaping round the front). The cut I was given was extremely messy, uneven, shorter than I requested and technically incorrect. At the time of the cut, the manager of the salon had to amend the haircut, resulting in a very messy cut that was not reflective of my original request at all. It was a highly distressing experience and I found some of the staff rude and careless to my feelings. The salon asked me to come back in 4 weeks to have my hair recut once the badly cut pieces had grown out. However, on coming back to the salon they checked my hair and told me their mistakes would take at least 6 months to grow out, and therefore they wasted my time in asking me to come back in. They also made negative comments that the cut they had given me would have looked good ‘on other people’. The owner of the salon Pedro originally offered me a new cut after 6 months but retracted this offer when I was upset at the situation his staff had caused me. The only positives are that the salon has nice decoration and is relatively clean - I cannot say anything positive about their haircuts or staff. I went to Ena last week for a balayage refresh and cut by Daisy and Rosie. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I loved the trendy decor and atmosphere of salon. The girls did a great job and I would definitely recommend them both. Afterwards I was giving a welcome pack which included some free product samples, I felt like this really enhance the customer experience.

Ena is amazing! Best salon I’ve ever been to. Both times I left with the perfect balayage by Dammy and feeling very happy with my hair (which I can’t say happens often with other salons! ). Sitting with Dammy whilst she does my hair is very relaxing and truly an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning rather than just something to tick off my to-do list. Dammy is really talented, passionate about hair and dedicated to delivering what I’m after. Won’t be changing who does my colour any time soon!

Terriible nightmare. The colorist destroyed my hair to the root within 6 months no apology. As a single 37 year old I have no words as to what it has done to my confidence over the last year….

I love, love, love this salon…Ena is an absolutely stunning! All staff are very helpful, well trained, skilled and friendly. For the last 3 years I am going to the same hair stylist every 8-10 weeks. His name is Alex. He is very professional, extremely patient, superior client care, knowledgeable, talented and he always give me some very useful advice to deal with my hair. After every single visit, my haircut is fantastic and the products are gorgeous. I highly recommend this salon. The ambiance and decor is calming, minimalist and most stylish. It doesn't hurt that it is located centrally while being easily accessible from the City. It’s also not as expensive as you might think, with prices starting at £59 for a cut and blow dry. I got an ombré from a lovely lady called Ash. She took the time to listen and understand exactly what I wanted, and made sure I knew exactly what colours would be used. Very professional technique. Excellent massage. Excellent result. Atmosphere was very chilled for a hairdressers, v nice vibe. Will definitely go back for an ombré when I need it topped up over the summer.

This salon deserves a 5+. I was fortunate to book an appointment at short notice whilst in London on holiday. From booking the appointment to walking out the door with a haircut I absolutely love I was made to feel as if I was the only person in the salon. I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to Woody my stylist who made me feel as if I was his most important customer and the haircut he gave me made me feel a million dollars, and my husband commented on how young the style made me look. The Indian head massage after the shampoo was something else. I will be back and I live in the Republic of Ireland.

I booked an appt with maddy for colour and Kate for a cute. I absolutely loved both and I'm very hard to please. Maddy did great blonde highlights that look natural, and after 33 years of being too scared to get a fringe cut in as my hair is soooo fine and straight, Kate was the first hairdresser to ever fully understand just how fine my hair is and did the best job ever. I came away brimming with new found sophisticated confidence. Highly highly recommend both these great ladies. :).

ENA -SALON is more than are hair salon for me. It's a magic beauty oase in the hart of london. I have never been feelt so confident while getting a colour change. Indeed Yohann the Stylist, a warm friendly and highly qualifield person, did an amazing job. He really understood my vision of my new colour and could easily transform it. I love my new hair! Never was so happy when I left a Hair Salon.

The salon itself is incredible, it has been decorated beautifully and has a very calming ambience. Jonathan has cut my hair a number of times now, and every time it is awesome, i always get what i want, and often he suggests great ideas for my hair cut.

Since moving down to London I've been going to Ena Salon. Every time I go I'm greeted with a smile and exceptional service. I've had various stylist's and always been so happy with the outcome. The colours are amazing and they always pick a great cut when I want a change. They are open late nights which fits in perfectly with my working schedule. I wouldn't change from going to Ena Salon. I'm yet to try their beauty treatments but that is next on my list!

Longing for a new style I booked an appointment at Ena Salon, which a friend had recommended to me. When I entered the Salon I received a very warm welcome and it took only a few minutes until my Stylist Yohan picked me up from the reception. Very unsure about a new style , going short and changing colour at one time, Yohan took time for a professional consultation. When we had decided what to do with the cut he also explained me what colour technique works best for the new cut and which colours actually suit my skin tone. This was a big change for me from middle long to short and from brown to red. I have to say I felt in very good hands the whole time. Yohan explained every step to me and the result just looks amazing. He gave my fine hair volume so that I don’t have to spend an hour trying to get volume by using a hair dryer and a brush in every direction. The colour really emphasises my skin tone and also my new cut a deep brown/red with some lighter bits in it. I highly recommend Yohan as a stylist , it doesn’t happen often that a new person gets my fine hair right at the first time.Moreexpand_more

I have been going to Ena Salon for a while now and am always happy with my experience there. Nino, who cuts my hair, is brilliant. He gives you inspiration for new ideas and is a great person to chat to whilst you’re having your hair done, over a cheeky glass of wine (complimentary). The salon itself is gorgeous and opulent, and so much more spacious and quiet than central London salons normally are. The staff take their time and it doesn’t feel like you’re being shepherded from one person to the next in a rush. The hair wash is relaxing and they take their time – you even get a decent head massage which lots of other salons seem to skip. I refer my friends to Ena and all of them have loved Nino, and the salon, and have become regulars. I would definitely recommend the salon for anyone who likes a relaxing experience and wants to leave feeling like a valued client and looking a million dollars! Thanks Ena Salon, and keep it up!.

What a fantastic experience. I desperately needed to have my hair cut in time for my best friend's wedding and I was so fortunate to have been put in touch with a nice chap called Jonathan who worked at ENA. I booked in an appointment having previously had a bad experience with another hairdresser down the road and I can't praise Jonathan enough for the professional experience and five star haircut that he gave me. On arrival I was offered a glass of wine which immediately allowed me to relax in the surroundings of the gorgeously sophisticated environment that the guys at ENA have created. Think a sophisticated fusion of traditional interiors with contemporary details. The gentleman who washed my hair did a great job and the head massage made me want to stay forever! Jonathan showed me around the impressive four storey property before taking to my then-slightly out of control hair. His expertise and casual yet professional manner meant that I could put my trust in him 100% without worrying that I might suffer the same experience from my previous hairdresser! I have never had my haircut in such a beautiful environment before! Ena salon is truly outstanding in every way! The staff are very welcoming, the salon has wonderful decor and I always leave looking and feeling great. I've always felt very out of place in top salons, but Ena is very welcoming and warm, and I was made to feel very valued. A young man called Jay cut my hair, he discussed every detail from my face shape to my hair growth patterns! And advised what would suit me best. I can honestly say I've never had so many compliments on my hair! Jay gets it right every time! I would definately recommend him to everyone I know!

As soon as I contacted ENA I realised that I was dealing with a very professional service. I emailed them enquiring about a 30% discount I was given by a friend and asked whether I could have an appointment on the next week at about 6pm. I got a friendly reply straight away telling me I could use the voucher and with an appointment already booked. On the day of my appointment the stylist I was supposed to see was off sick but offered me a replacement on the same day at the same time. As soon as I got there I was made to feel at ease and was offered a drink. I then met Jonathan my stylist who suggested for me a short sharp cut. I was very pleased with the suggestion as normally because of my fine hair people suggest feathery hair which I don’t really like. I was then taken to another room for the best hair shampoo of my life as I got an amazing head massage and I was in heaven. The other thing that I loved it that the place is not the usual hairdresser where you have all the chairs in a line like a montage chain, it is a lovely old house that they have tastefully converted to a saloonJonathan my stylist took the greatest care whilst cutting my hair and the result was amazing. I got great comments from friends and family and someone commented on my cut on my train home Also I liked the fact that they did not push me to buy any product nor to get any extra treatment. This was the first time that I have been to ena salon, and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is just superb; it honestly felt like a home away from home. I had received a gift card for a cut, colour, massage/facial and mani/pedi. This visit was for my cut and blowdry, and I was treated no differently from any full-paying customer. The stylist, Jonathan, first explained what he thought should be done with my hair, then I had the most divine head massage, and afterwards he showed me how to blowdry my hair at home. In the past I've found it impossible to recreate the same style as the stylist but now I am able to do it because I was actually shown how. I would recommend ena salon to anyone and I hope they take full advantage of the services offered.

I have been a customer at Ena since it first opened and have had Nino as my stylist since its opening. The salon itself is unique in its approach to customer service, quality and professionalism. The company ethos and the caliber of staff they employ are testament to to the exceptional vision and creativity of Jonny and Pedro the owners. Each and every haircut i have received from Nino has been innovative, creative and yet completely functional. He takes great pride in his work and it is obvious that his passion is always that his clients leave the salon feeling fantastic about the haircut they have received. He always takes the time to do a through consultation, during which he gives professional advice and guidance whilst also being willing to listen to any preferences you may have about styles. I trust him so implicitly now that i very often just let him do whatever he feels like, and that is always way more beautiful that anything i could have ever imagined myself. Each haircut i get i think is the best one yet and then the next time he manages to better the last. I have recommended him to both friends and work colleagues, male and female and every time they have been delighted with the results. I have also had my hair coloured on a regular basis by Krista and Johan, both of whom are equally amazing. Ena salon surpasses any other London salon that i have visited, and over the years that amounts to a fair few. The whole experience from the moment you enter and meet Mel on reception, through to the moment you leave is a pleasurable one. I cannot recommend it highly enough.Moreexpand_more
