Emery Painters and Decorators

Had my two bedroom flat painted by Mick and his team. Walls, ceiling, doors, skirting, ledges. Mick was very efficient in quoting for the work. His price was competitive as was the time-frame for completing the works (mostly finished inside 3 days, 4th day just putting the finishing touches to their work). Very courteous workmen. Only thing I can't really recommend is how careful they are not to get paint on existing carpet areas. My carpets were all being replaced once the painting was finished so they didn't have to take special care and avoid marking or staining the existing ones. This is all that has stopped me giving a full set of 5 marks in the ratings section. I'd certainly be happy to have future decorating carried out by Mick and his team and would advise anyone to give them a try. You're unlikely to be disappointed.Moreexpand_more

We recently had our lounge, kitchen, and the hall, stairs and landing decorated and we are delighted with the overall quality, speed and efficiency of the work done. And at a competitive price. I would certainly recommend them to friends/relatives.

Redecorated three rooms in our house. Very pleased with the standard of work. Quoted, commenced and completed the work in good time. Very tidy and kept us up to speed at all times. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend.

Mick and Sean spent 8 days decorating our house throughout, stripping some walls and re-papering, making good walls I'd tried paint out on, and painting walls! Glossing skirting and doors etc. The standard is to a extremely high. Everything was taped, had more dust sheets to cover absolutely everything than you could imagine, took down curtains, blinds etc and replaced them, even changed ceiling roses, door handles and electric switches to match the new decor. Totally ok about being asked to touch bits up before signing off the job. So pleased I found Mick and team via Rated Directories. Would totally recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Service. Mick and his team did a fantastic job of painting my newly refurbished 3 bedroom semi detached. They always arrived on time and carried out works as explained. Mick even offered to return to touch up the house when we move in. Would use them again and certainly would recommend to family and friends.

Mick and his team decorated my whole house. Before, during and after the work, Mick personally kept in touch to keep us fully informed and to check that we were happy at all times. They did an excellent job, and I am very happy with the quality of the work. They were very professional, and clearly know their job. They covered and taped everything before painting, and cleaned up properly as they went along. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were more than happy to go around on the final day touching up even the tiniest of bits to my satisfaction. Overall, they did a great job at a good price, and I would recommend them happily.

Mick and his team did a good job decorating the bedroom, which included stripping and repapering,good preparation, and finish coats of paint to the ceilings and walls. In addition his team had to work around a bed and 2 double wardrobes which wasn't easy so well done there. The bedroom was left tidy after each day with the window blinds also replaced at the end of the day which was a big help. All in all a satisfactory job completed on time and with care. If your looking for a decorater look no further then mick and sean at emery they came everyday on time were polite very knowable professional and did a brilliant job on my two bedrooms they are returning to do my third bedroom and hall landing and stairs once completed everything was left clean and tidy every day can't thank them enough and will be strongly recommending them to friends and family paid what was quoted no hidden extras put up curtain rails etc for small fee when asked nothing was too much trouble thank you see you soon.

Mick and Sean have just completed the redecoration of my hall, landing and stairs. They arrived punctually each day and worked hard. I am fully satisfied with the work and also impressed with the excellent focus on customer service. For example, Mick's quote was delivered promptly and in writing, he phoned me a few days before he was due to start to confirm details and check the paint colours, and he phoned me every evening during the three days the job took to make sure I was happy with everything and had no questions or instructions for the following day. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to family and friends.

Unfortunately was unimpressed by work carried out more paint on carpets and furniture and hid poor finish with furniture would not recommend. Let him know I was dissatisfied didn't reply.

I had my bathroom ceiling painted, as well as hall, stairs and landing and the gentlemen who completed the job done a fantastic job on all. Workmanship was very good, and they made sure all areas were protected with dust sheets, plastics etc. Attended property, very prompt to start work, and worked extremely hard to complete jobs. I was very satisfied. I had been very satisfied from the initial contact from Mick Emery, who provided a written list of jobs to be undertaken in detail and price to the end completion of work. Mick is very talented. He has the gift of being able to plan a job perfectly. Quotes are clear and reasonable and provided quickly. He and his team arrive early and work hard. They get on well and are pleasant to have in the house. Everything is dust sheeted and left tidy. He is very knowledgeable and his advice can be trusted. He has worked for us prepping and lining ready for my husband to paint. He also painted a large ceiling and the finish was excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and he accommodates any additional requests as he goes along. Customer satisfaction is important to him. I found Emery Painters and Decorators on a local search, sent an email and Mick got back to me to give a quote very promptly. They were able to start quickly and have painted our whole house on new plaster in 3 weeks. The communication was excellent, Mick kept me up to date regularly. The service was very professional, with clear costings and all the guys were very friendly and approachable. Any problems or touch ups were sorted out, and we are very pleased with the result.

Mick and the lads did a fantastic job of paper and painting my lounge can't fault them in anyway great job lads thank you.
