Elle Hitchens Make Up Artist

Elle did the bridal make-up for our wedding on 20 May and what a fantastic job she did. I don't tend to wear heavy make-up so I was nervous about wearing a full face all day but I needn't have worried. Elle listened to my concerns, took them on board and the make-up was beautiful on the day. It gave me the confidence I needed to walk down the aisle. My bridesmaids looked beautiful too - Elle picked a gorgeous gold shimmery shadow for them which complemented their pastel coloured mix and match dresses. I cannot thank you enough - for making us all look gorgeous and for helping calm my nerves on the big day. Thanks again Elle - you are a star, a very skilled make-up artist and a true professional.

Elle did my wedding make up and for my bridesmaids too. From initial contact she was professional, and at the trial and on the day did an amazing job. My make up stayed in place all day, and my skin looked flawless, which it isn't! She is exceptional value for money, and my wedding photo's are a testament to that. Elle did my wedding/40th birthday party makeup for me and the end results were absolutely amazing. Elle is a fantastic makeup artist who is both professional and personable. She made me feel at ease straight away on her first visit and she was able to provide unlimited advice on both the best products to use and colour schemes that would suit my complexion and dress that I was wearing. I was lucky enough to have Elle do my make up for my wedding in Bath in April 2010. I received many compliments on the day, and when people see the photos, but most importantly, I felt really beautiful and confident with how I looked. At the trial, Elle listened carefully to the look I was after, and was more than happy to adjust the make up until we achieved it. On the day she was a calm, happy presence that helped calm the big day jitters. I can't recommend Elle highly enough.

Elle was fabulous. Fantastic make up, friendly and calming (exactly what you need on your wedding day! ) She even offered to stay and help make the corsages! The trial and wedding makeup was worth every penny.

Elle did my make up for my wedding day on 3rd July 2010 as well as my Mums and Sisters. Everyone commented on my make-up especially my eyes as it looks beautiful on the photos and lasted all day. I have always been daunted by make up and knew I had to have a make up artist. I met Elle through our photographer and she is amazing! I had had my face threaded just before the wedding (BAD idea! ) and I was covered in spots; she did an amazing job and made me look flawless! Yes she is more expensive than the beauty therapist at your local salon, that is because she is a make up artist not someone who has done a 1 day course! She has suitcases of premium brand make up and has the ability to make you look like a better version of you, not a clown!

I have worked with Elle on many occasions and can highly recommend her. Elle is extremely professional as well as being very artistic with amazing results whether you want natural or dramatic. A must have for that special day.

Elle was a pleasure to be around on the morning of my wedding. She was calm, efficient and highly skilled in her make-up application. The trial 3 weeks before was great - Elle came to my house with loads of make-up and spent almost 2 hours discussing the look I wanted and trying different ideas. She really listened to me at the trial and was able to recreate the make-up pefectly on the wedding day. She also did the make-up for my 2 Bridesmaids. They went for slightly differnt styles of make-up but both looked amazing and they were really pleased with the end result. Elle uses top quality make up (mainly MAC) and it stayed on all day. I would recommed Elle to anyone looking for a Make-Up Artist, especially Brides-to-be as she is such a chilled out person to be around when preparing for your Wedding day.

Elle did my make up in December 2009 for my wedding. I knew that she was the right person when she came to my house to do a make up trial, so calm, friendly and professional and her skill in doing make up amazing. She really listened to what i wanted as i like make up really natural but enough to make it last all day. She came on the morning of the wedding and it was great to have almost an hour of relaxation time while she did my make up and it was great. I felt really confident that she would do a great job. Her range of MAC make up is fantastic and she gave good make up tips to the rest of my family too! I would not hestitate in recommending Elle to anyone who needs a make up artist.

Elle was lovely to work with, really pleased I went with her for my wedding make-up. She made the trial alot of fun and very exciting, when some other people were more business like, which isn't what you want for your wedding! Although at the top of my price range, Elle was very skilled, used MAC make-up and her professional yet creative approach justified the cost easily.

Elle was wonderful both at the trial and on our special day. The make up was lovely, exactly what I had asked for at the consultation, and stayed on until I went to bed much later that day. Elle also gave me details of the lipstick she would apply on the day so I could buy one myself ready to touch up after all of the congratulatory kisses. Elle also helped me down the stairs in my dress on the day! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends and family. Wonderful.

Elle was the best make up artist I have ever come across. She listened to the kind of make up style I wanted, not trying to influence me at all, and managed to create the look I was after absolutely perfectly. The make up Elle used was beautiful, she had such an array of colours and choice of foundations available and knew which would suit me best. The make up stayed in place perfectly all day and as such I was able to just relax and enjoy it. Not only that but Elle was so friendly it made what can often be a slightly daunting experience into one which I really enjoyed.
