Booked for 10:30, I waited until 11 then set off for work assuming something had gone wrong (having booked the morning off), what a waste. Got a txt at 11:09 saying I’m approx 12mins away. 11:21 isn’t 10:30! When you guys (Nathan) takes phone numbers and email addresses when booking the initial appointment I’d expect any delay (especially nearly an hour) would be conveyed to the customer. ? Also On that note…. If you take an email address on booking why not send a confirmation of the booking through? I’m assuming it’s taken to send the invoice only? I chose electricblu based on local reviews but sadly there are always exceptions to the rule. This was me. No call to explain the delay or apologise since. (Otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this) And I’m out a mornings annual leave that I can’t get back for nothing. Gave a 3/5 for value based on previous quotes to be fair as they were “middle of the road” but can’t score any higher for service or quality obviously.Moreexpand_more

ElectricBlu Contractors have been working on our grade 2 listed Church building on a number of occasions now. James and his team have carried out a full electrical inspection and testing at the Church premises, replacing 5 distribution boards, replacing a switched fuse board, replacing socket outlets, as well as a number of other things. This work was all required as a result of the initial EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report). Any work by contractors is not easy in a building of this age. Every step the team have been sensitive and clarified each requirement face to face before commencing the work. The team have respected our Church as a place of worship and have fully complied with all current CV19 guidelines. The admin team of the company are amazing. You can ring out of hours and they will get back to you before they are due to start work. They are so polite, so conscientious but also so efficient working with the Church and diocese as there is lots of paper work and procedure to go through. No show to 12. 00 appointment. Called office but no follow up explanation. Not a good way to do business. Completely at odds with website write-up. Very disappointed.

ElectricBlu carried out a safety inspection of my house and garage as I needed an electrical safety certificate to sell the property. They were very efficient checking the 2 distribution boards and the lighting and socket circuits. They took great care not to cause any mess or damage and even did a couple of minor repairs without extra charge. They were very thorough and the price was very competitive. I definitely recommend ElectrcBlu to carry out any domestic electrical work.

ElectricBlu have recently carried out work for me at my home on two occasions:a whole house wiring and safety check, installation of 2no extract fans, and consumer unit upgrade. On both occasions I was impressed by their expertise and performance and all at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The work entailed splitting a power ring main with many plug points into 3 separate circuits linking them back to the fuse board before replacing the 20 year old consumer unit with a modern equivalent. Finally a full safety check of all circuits on the premises, new and old, was done and a certificate of safety issued. The company was punctual on the agreed date and time. Their approach to the work was both professional and diligent, particularly in identifying and splitting the circuit. At the end of the day, they ensured that the work area was left clean and tidy. At all times they were courteous keeping me inform of progress. It was a pleasure to use a local contractor with such a professional approach.

Removed broken oven and hob, fitted new built in oven and induction hob, arrived when expected, did a great job and left everything clean and tidy. Great service and price would definitely recommend/ use again.

Undertook 2 electrical certificates as well as PAT tests for rental properties. Excellent customer service, turned up on time and issued certificates promptly. Would use Electricblu contractors again and would definitely recommend.

Electricblu completed an electrical safety report on a property we are purchasing. They picked the keys up from the agent, completed the testing and provided a very detailed report of the issues together with pictures. We were very happy with their service and the way they explained all the issues in a language I could understand (just! ) - We will be employing James and his team again in the near future.

I rang James for help as I needed an Electrical Check urgently on my property. He fit me in so quickly and even changed the bathroom light switch for no extra cost. Spoke to James Friday morning as we needed a job completing that afternoon. He managed to squeeze us in at the last minute, completed the work to a high standard and sent photographs the next day. After this Electric Blu have become the main electrician we use for the area they cover. The work is high quality, they book in jobs quickly and they are reliable and always turn up when they say they will. By the end of this month (July) James will have completed seven jobs for us to a very high standard with him keeping his promise of providing the most detailed reports in Wakefield. He also explains electrical problems and solutions to you in a way that you can understand rather than with lots of jargon. We were also surprised to find that the cost for the works and customer service provided was fair. In summary we would highly recommend James to both private and commercial companies because of his outstanding professionalism, speed at which he sends paperwork and quality work at a fair price.

James at ElectricBlu Contractors fitted our new consumer unit. He was punctual, polite and friendly. James also carried out an electrical safety test on our electrical circuits checking sockets , lighting , cooker and the electrical supply to the garage. Would certainly use ElectricBlu contractors again for electrical jobs.

He has carried work out for our agency for quite some time and all jobs passed to him have been carried out promptly, he has contacted our tenants direct and once visited the property emails or telephones immediately with costings and forwards photos of the repair needed. The works carried out is to a high standard and the costings of his work reasonable priced. We would not hesitate in recommending Electric Blu to any of our clients.

Completed an eicr report in super quick time to help us get our house sale through. Was writing the report up until 1. 30 am just to help us out. Friendly, tidy explained all the report and works needed even giving us quotes there and then. Highly recommend.
