Zoltan Erdei and his Ediwood crew and contractors recently completed a kitchen refit for me, on time, on budget, and based on a design that Zoltan himself suggested and which I never would have thought of myself. I love the results and am grateful that contact and consultation was always very easy and productive, all the workers pleasant, respectful and efficient (in the middle of both "lockdown" and terrible weather). I certainly would STRONGLY recommend Ediwood for any woodwork or refurbishments you may need.

I would like to thank Zoltan for the beautiful Lowboard he delivered to me this afternoon, it was made to my own design and the attention to detail was spot on and exactly as I hoped for. Ediwood Cabinet Makers made me a fully bespoke kitchen. I have had work done by Zoltan and his team before and find them very easy to work with. The quality of the work is to the highest standard and their attention to detail is exceptional! For my recent kitchen project I found Zoltan very easy to work with, from the planning stage to the final day of the project. His knowledge and problem solving skills go hand in hand with his excellent cabinet maker skills making him an excellent designer and creator. He worked on the kitchen design to make sure I got what I wanted, which I had been battling to achieve with every other kitchen designer. His attention to detail and his love of his work means that the project was delivered to a standard that exceeded my expectations. He really cares about what he is making and works tirelessly until he is happy with the final product, which is a rare character trait these days. As well as these great skills, and perhaps the USP, is that Zoltan has amazing vision and creativity. I first met Zoltan when he worked as a finishing joiner on the complete refurbishment of a period flat conversion that I own in Edinburgh city centre. The project had lots of intricate woodwork and needed more than just a typical joiner - someone with really excellent woodworking skills. More recently he has made a new panelled door for a vestibule, a decorative cupboard to hide a gas meter, lovely stained doorway thresholds (to match an antique balustrade/handrail), and rehung/adjusted and draught proofed doors. He is polite, courteous, always full of ideas and sound advice, is very neat and tidy treating your house like his own, and always gives his customers really great service. His prices are always competitive, he is super reliable and trustworthy and I bet he could make anything out of a piece of wood and make it look beautiful. Alastair Cameron.

Ediwood created a bespoke dual purpose bookcase, and bespoke walk-in closet including wardrobes, jewellery cupboard, and ladder with rail to reach the highest cupboards. The customer service was outstanding with great communication every step of the way. I visited the workshop during the making process and was impressed with the working environment I witnessed. On installation the men were friendly, organised, efficient, and tidy. I truly can't fault the workmanship, to the point where I have now commissioned a second wardrobe. I can't recommend them more highly. .

Zoltan and his team made a bespoke wardrobe and fitted bookshelves. Right from the start the service was excellent. Zoltan answered emails promptly, arrived on time, listened to our ideas but put his own in as well, and provided CAD drawings as part of the quote. The work was delivered on time, installed with the minimum of disruption and we are delighted with the finished product.

Zoltan designed and made exceptionally high quality bedroom furniture for our master bedroom. It has transformed the room with a much more elegant look and far better use of space and functionality. He was a joy to work with at all times. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

It's not cheap commissioning furniture but I used EDIWOOD to design and build a bespoke bookcase. Zoltan and his team were responsive to my ideas and requirements and built exactly what I wanted and was helpful in clarifying all the design elements. Installation was completed within a day and timescales from ordering to completion was very swift. I would highly recommend EDIWOOD.

Zoltan and his team created two walnut and oak cabinets for our client’s drawing room and two oak cabinets with gold and brass detailing for the dining room, all cabinets are spectacular and Ediwood exceeded our expectations! He followed our plans and drawings perfectly; his attention to detail is excellent and his service is friendly yet professional. Highly recommend, we will definitely be using Ediwood again. Zoltan was fast and very professional, delivering a quality product. Which incorporated many of his suggestions, and exactly on time !

Ediwood supplied replacement doors for a built-in wardrobe. Zoltan produced a number of designs, all of which were much more to my taste than anything else I'd looked at. They were also more expensive, but that's because everything is custom-made. Most of the work was done off-site, but the actual installation was completed within a few hours.

Ediwood supplied and fitted a handmade kitchen island with Silestone top. The service was excellent, friendly but profesional and very efficient. The workmanship was superb and the finished product was exactly what we wanted.

Zoltan has made us a bespoke walnut dinning table and chairs. The whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. He provided detailed updates, made exceptional recommendations and the finish product has exceeded all our expectations. A true craftsman ( team) who really take pride in their work.

For health reasons we had to organise this project from a distance. Zoltan and his expert team exceeded our expectations in the work they did in installing a completely new kitchen and utility room.
