Andy and his crew did a phenomenal job with removing the old lining paper, filling and replastering 200 year old walls, re-lining and painting the entirety of my flat. They were conscientious workers who arrived on time, always with a smile and ready to work and with really great ideas to bounce back and forth about how to elevate the aesthetic of my flat. They are incredibly professional and I would 10/10 use them again!

Andy gave us a quote promptly and organised the job to fit with our timescale. He was on time, efficient and did a beautiful job of painting our bathroom with the suitable paint. He gave advice about what paint we should use and he completed the work well within the time. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Andy replied to our initial email query very promptly and quickly organised a free estimate. The estimate process was very detailed with several options discussed and lots of time to ask questions. We felt the price was fair and did not feel under any obligation to accept the quote nor when deciding which options to accept. The work was able to begin very soon after accepting the quote. Kenneth and Jamie did a quiet, thorough and efficient job and we were amazed at how quickly the work was done! We had two rooms skimmed, lining paper hung and walls and woodwork re-painted. We are absolutely delighted with the final results - both rooms look flawless - and the whole process was incredibly quick and caused minimal disruption. Thank you Andy, Kenneth and Jamie!

Andy, David. Kenneth and Jamie were so amazing. They came into my flat and very quickly and beautifully painted every room! They arranged for all of the paint and all the colors were everything and more of what I expected. They finished 6 good sized rooms in one week. Andy came back on his own a week later to paint my bathroom which needed to be plastered first. They were so professional, friendly and flexible. Andy and his team painted and decorated the entire house. This included stripping varnish from a large 3 panel bay window. The finish was exceptional and completely transformed the house. Andy does exceptional work,  very much a perfectionist. He takes pride in his workmanship, works hard and gives honest and good advice. He maintained constant and good communication from when he initially provided a quote for the work till it was completed on budget and on time. Highly recommended!

Andy and David did an excellent job painting the common areas of our Victorian building in the west end of Edinburgh. They worked hard, had good attention to detail and cleaned up after themselves to minimise disruption to residents. I strongly recommend their painting services.

Andy did a fantastic job painting our gutters and downpipes. He was hard working, reliable and conscientious and got the job done in good time. I would say he's a perfectionist because he scrutinised everything and went over things he wasn't happy with. We're very pleased with the work he did.

Andy responded to my request for a quote the same day and provided much needed and helpful advice on how to get the best results. I had 3 rooms to be lined, woodwork and ceiling to be painted and then wallpapering in all 3 rooms. David and Andy did a fantastic job to a very high standard especially with the pattern on the wallpapers but the result was a fantastic transformation. They were both very friendly and professional. Will be my first choice for any future work I need and will definitely recommend them to others.

Edinburgh Decor worked on my ground floor flat in Morningside to repair extensive flooding damage from a burst pipe in the flat above. Work included replacing porch roof, plastering, painting and electrical work including adding a ceiling rose and raggling a new light cable to do so! Andy and his team were extremely hard working and professional, on time, 100% reliable. They actually went over and above to ensure the job was finished to a very high standard and did not go over on estimated time or price. I would highly recommend their services!

The job was to strip wallpaper, paper, paint walls, ceiling, skirting, cornice, fireplace and shutters in large room in an old building. We've had a lot of decoration carried out over the years with mixed results. Andy has undoubtedly done the best job, essentially restoring most of the room. He went above and beyond expectations, sanding and filling everything to a beautiful smooth finish. This is the type of finish you want from a decorator but rarely get.

The job was to plaster cracks, strip woodchip and redecorate. Andy responded quickly, was positive about what could be done and carried out the work quickly and professionally. He was friendly, courteous and left everything clean. A very good standard of work.

Andy is super professional and very conscientious about his quality of work. I am an architect and commissioned Andy for my private project, a flat in Edinburgh. He was a total joy to work with and delivered a perfect job!

Andy and his colleague did a great job of painting my shop front and rear wall of the coffee shop. They were both very professional and completed the job to a very high standard, even returning the following day after a heavy rain shower to ensure it hadn't affected the paint before it had a chance to full dry. Some small marks had been made, barely noticeable, and they were quickly remedied. I have no hesitation in recommending Edinburgh Decor Ltd.

Have contracted Andy previously on a daily rate. This time was a bathroom for a quoted price. I was a bit disappointed at the price TBH, given that the work was done in a single day. In the end however, the price was cheaper than a daily rate would have been, because an unexplained issue with the paint (Johnstones Durable) caused the walls to crack and peel after a few days. Andy had to come back and prepare then redo the job 3 times before we got a stable finish that didn't peel (the final time using oil based paint). Andy is good to communicate with and always responds quickly…Even to bad news after having been paid. I find him easy to work with and he does a good job. I would use Edinburgh Decor again.

Job: repair plaster after water ingress and repaint 2 damaged walls in New Town top-floor flat. Andy was prompt to quote and communication before starting work was very efficient. Job done over two days to an excellent standard, as was clearing up afterwards. Would definitely use again if needed. Thoroughly recommended.
