EcoCompare is a Hampshire-based solar quote comparison service. We help homeowners and businesses across the county get up to three free quotes from vetted local installers, so you can compare properly instead of just accepting the first number that lands on your kitchen table.

The idea started because getting solar quotes in the UK is a genuine pain. Cold calls, high-pressure sales visits, prices all over the place, and no easy way to work out which installer is any good. We wanted to fix that for our own county first. Every installer on our panel is MCS certified, properly insured, and has a track record we've actually looked into.

It's completely free for homeowners and businesses. We're paid by the installers, only when we send them someone who genuinely wants a quote. That keeps us honest and means installers only pay for real interest, not window-shoppers.

Our Story.
EcoCompare started with a pretty ordinary frustration. One of us was trying to get solar panels quoted for a family member's house in Hampshire and it turned into weeks of chasing installers, dodging pushy salespeople, and ending up with three quotes that were miles apart with no way to work out which one was actually fair. We figured if that's the experience for someone who knows their way around it, it must be ten times worse for everyone else. So we built EcoCompare - the thing we wished had existed. A straightforward way to get a handful of proper quotes from local Hampshire installers we've actually vetted, without giving your phone number to twelve different companies. We started local on purpose. Hampshire's our patch, we know the towns, we know which installers are worth speaking to, and we'd rather do one county properly than half a job across the whole country. The plan is to keep growing from here, but the promise stays the same - real quotes, real installers, no nonsense.
