About Eastbourne Sexual Assault
Our goal is to be a pioneer in sexual violence prevention and response through collaboration, resource sharing, resource creation, and research promotion. We picture a society in which everyone is respected for their differences, treated with dignity, and given the freedom to express themselves sexually and physically. We think we're making the world safer and healthier through cooperation, prevention tactics, and research-based tools.
We define sexual violence as a broad phrase that encompasses a wide range of physical and non-physical actions that constitute unwelcome or age-inappropriate sexual engagement and can have an effect on individuals of any age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or other characteristics. We think that sexism, which is tied to other forms of oppression like ableism, adultism, ageism, classism, heterosexism, racism, and sexism, as well as other ideologies that place value on particular individuals or groups over others, is a result of power imbalances. We use our position of national leadership to advance a better comprehension of sexual violence and strategies for preventing it.
We think that sexual assault can be avoided. According to our understanding, sexual assault is a problem with social justice, public health, criminal justice, and human rights.
To advance a single movement, we bring the resources, knowledge, and techniques from each of these fields of competence. We think that having honest, truthful talks, educating people about healthy relationships, interacting with and educating bystanders, and other similar tactics help to bring about positive, long-lasting societal improvements. To effectively address the needs of those who have been victimised, treat, manage, and successfully reintegrate those who sexually offend, and increase the capacity of individuals, groups, and communities to prevent sexual violence before it occurs, we believe that efforts should be made at the same time.0 FreeIndex Reviews
