Amazing service! Can not recommend enough. My central heating hasn't been getting very hot so I wanted a power flush to hopefully sort the problem. East Mids Gas quoted the cheapest but he didn't just carry out the power flush, he went round checking what other causes it could be. He went above and beyond. Very happy with his work.

What a fantastic plumber, i had a leak in my bedroom, I telephoned another plumber and they let me down, called this man and he was with me in a couple of hours, fixed it. I told him my radiators werent working, within 2 dats he was back and powerflushed the central heating system, worked all day cannot fault him, I would recommend this plumber to everyone.

Just had my boiler serviced and they serviceman was excellent! I was given a time window when booking and then received a phone call giving an estimated time of arrival an hour before. He showed me what he was doing and what he could tell about the boiler by observation. He gave me tips and was quick and very pleasant, which instilled confidence. I will definitely be using them again.

After a less than satisfactory visit from BG, I did my research, read some reviews and contacted East Mid Gas. Their prices were very competitive and up front with no hidden surprises or extras, unlike BGs 'tut tut' hard sell. Asif and his apprentice did an excellent job, keeping me informed as they went along, I felt very relaxed and able to trust them, they also did an excellent job tidying up afterwards, so big thanks to them. Recommendations were made but as said no hard sell, a quick visit to Google to check what was being said and yes, their advise was spot on. If like me you loathe dentist, estate agent, solicitors and plumbers, you'll find Asif and EMG will make a very pleasant change. I definitely recommended them and will no longer use BG. Thanks EMG.

Found this company after searching here and reading reviews. We would thoroughly recommend East Midlands Gas and plumbing. Very proffesional and Asif the engr kept us informed when delayed. We want more work doing and will look no further than this company!

I needed some work done to fix a leak in the bathroom. The derby based plumber came and did the job very efficiently and with minimal fuss. The plumber, called Asif, was professional, did a clean job and charged much less than I expected to pay! That’s never happened before! Not often you meet people that are honest and have integrity. I will be calling him back for other jobs that need doing around the house – starting with the gas fire that needs replacing. Highly recommend him.

After receiving a ridiculous quote from the Letting Agency contractor to resolve a faulty shower issue at my property, I decided to look elsewhere and was recommended East Midlands Gas and Plumbing Services. Best decision I made, saved over £300. Fantastic service from Asif.

I had my gas serviced on the 10th October by East Midlands Gas. They did a very detailed analysis and discovered that the chimney was not pulling. For a gas fire this is very dangerous since there is no smoke and I would have ended with a room full of carbon monoxide. They disassembled/riassembled the fire and another company swept the chimney. Thanks to East Midlands Gas now my house is safe! In addition I had the heating system flushed by them on the 17th. Again they did a good job by spending more than 6 hours cleaning the whole system. Initially the water coming out of the system was dirty and rusty but when they finished you could almost drink it. Totally recommended!

Has East Midlands Gas round to flush my central heating system, they were punctual, respectful, professional and stayed until the water ran clear to my satisfaction. They were the best price I could find locally and so pleased finally found gas engineers you can trust, a credit to your trade. After the flush, we were so pleased we asked them to quote for fitting a new Worcester boiler we had sourced off the Internet, great price again so we booked them in. From booking to fitting, all fitted, commissioned within one week, now that's service you can smile about. Long may the sunshine last but now we are fully prepared for winter. We have recommended them to all our family and freinds, Asif and Sid are great people to put your trust in.

We had a problem with our boiler, which was making noises similar to a load of steel bars being rattled around. I called East Midlands Gas following a good recommendation from a friend at my work. Following my conversation with the gas engineer, they were willing to diagnose the problem over the phone and explained that it was likened to an air lock being present in the system. I did explain that previous to this, I had drained the system down myself due to a leak occurring in my hallway, which I had sorted out, but when I turned on the supply to the system boiler (Gloworm) it had started making these rattling noises. The pipe work in my house is mostly made up of 8mm copper, which didn't help! The engineer explained a power flush was required, due to the makeup of my central heating network (8mm copper piping, system boiler. Etc) in order to clear the sludge out of the radiators and pipes, releasing the airlock out of the system. When I told them, there were 14 radiators to contend with, I was even more surprised with the price they quoted to me and told them to come over ASAP, because I was offered quotes at much higher amounts from others. When the two local engineers arrived at my house today, from the time they had stated, to the point they had finished the job, two words describing them, summed up the whole day for me. 'Very professional'. They carried out the work required excellently, maintaining a high degree of cleanliness and efficiency. They continued with the power flush from the point the system was producing 'black, sludge-like liquid' to 'crystal clear water'. Once done, they fired up the boiler, turned the central heating and hot water on and remained at the premises until they were fully satisfied everything was in full working order. On providing a breakdown of the works carried out, they had replaced certain dilapidated parts at no extra cost, showing me all the extra works carried out at the header tank, including adding a new isolator valve for cutting off the supply to the header tank, if required, in the future. I had a new Combi Condensing boiler replacement last week by the gas safe boiler installation team at East Midlands Gas and Plumbing Services. The gas safe plumbers were very professional, polite, easy going and very punctual. They fitted the combi boiler, magna clean filter and a central heating programmer to my satisfaction. The work area was cleaned well when the work was complete. This was the best quote I had and I also get a generous 7 year warranty with the boiler. We have a home care plan with British gas who service and maintain our central heating boiler and controls. Last week when the heating stopped working British sent a gas safe engineer who advised us that we need a power flush on our system because we have a blockage in the radiators and the heat exchanger. So British gas gave us a quote and I looked on the Internet for other local power flushing companies and seen some good reviews for EastMidlands gas and Plumbing and there price was much lower than British gas quoted. We are very happy with the quality of service and price from this company. We will use this company again and will recommend to all who need a power flush.

I’d tried bleeding the radiators but couldn’t figure out why the radiators where hot from the top and cold at the bottom. I’d used East Midlands Gas Services before when last winter my pipes burst. I gave them a call, it turned out I needed a power flush. I’m a strong believer of getting second opinions and quotes. I rang several other providers but non could beat East Midlands Gas Services. The job was done by Gas Safe / Corgi Approved / Registered Gas Engineers at an extremely competitive price. Well done guys, a satisfied customer.
