DW Dogs

To this day I still recommend DW for dog training. I’ve been helped by Dione a lot to help with my rescue boy. Will always sing her praises.

I booked Dionne after coming home with a very excitable 8 year old rescue staffy. He went berserk every time anybody came to the door and jumped and licked them to death when they tried to sit down in the front room. I only had one home visit from Dionne and within that time she introduced ways of keeping him calm that have worked like a dream. My mother has a home help every week (usually someone different each time) and after his initial greeting (sitting not jumping) he ignores them. He was also awful on the lead and I have had a few lessons with Dionne in the park. She has advised me on the correct harness and lead which has made all the difference. He is unsure of other dogs, so Dionne advised a muzzle. After guidance from Dionne within 4 days he was happily wearing this for his walks. I am still working on him not taking any notice of other dogs, but it may be a trait from before he came to me. I cannot recommend DW Dogs highly enough. I have three terrier dogs including one rescue dog and after some 1 to 1 training, their behaviour improved immensely. I now have my dogs regularly walked and they are safely walked off the lead, which they love so much. DW dogs has improved my family so much.

I started 1-1 training with DW Dogs in Hastings, when my Labrador puppy was six months old, he is now 19 months old, and a really happy, well balanced dog. We still train regularly with Dione and her teaching methods based on positive rewards combined with her knowledgable observations, make it an enjoyable and informative experience and my dog loves it!
