Following a near disaster on Christmas Day we had an electrical fire which could of potentially been a lot worse. I called Durham Electrics at 12. 30pm on Christmas Day. They arrived at my property within one hour to then assess the damage of the electrics get us back with power then replace the complete fuse box two days later. I would say the engineer who attended was first class. Thanks again for your very quick response - If I have any future electrical works I would certainly use Durham a Electrics again. 5? . We used Durham electrics to carry out maintenance on our student property's in Durham. Always found excellent in service and price. Nothing is a problem them and we feel advice given is always upfront, honest and a true reflection of what's required. The only down side is they are always busy but we always get fitted in at times suitable to ourselves with plenty of notice to the students.

Stephen fitted a double socket in my kitchen and one in the lounge. He is very reliable, does a good professional job and cleans up afterwards.

I was looking for new lights in the kitchen and hall. It was good to have someone who could recommend a solution to the broken and outdated light fittings and we now have much better lighting than previously. We are now using Durham Electrics to commission our holiday homes after being let down with 2 other companies through their poor planning and workmanship. We run a holiday park at Edmundbyers and use Steve to do the commissioning and repairs to our holiday homes, we find him to be very professional, polite and knowledgeable with his work, he is always on time, very clean and tidy when he's finished and we are very pleased to have him on board.

Used several times to change light fittings and sockets. Stephen and his team have been reliable, friendly, polite and professional. Gives helpful advice and solutions even if it means the job is a bit more fiddly for him. Quotes have been emailed to me and broken down in terms of hourly labour rate and cost of materials. He is happy to take on small jobs and gives an accurate estimate of how long the work will take rather than over-estimating, as some trades-people do. I wouldn't use anyone else for electrical work.

Durham Electrics correctly diagnosed problems with bathroom lights and electric hot water system. Both jobs were carried out efficiently and well. Highly recommended.

The service and advice we received from start to finish was very professional, the quality of workmanship was excellent, the materials used were of high quality, we had our machines installed and literally just needed to switch them on, we had no cleaning up to do, all rubbish was removed and the floors swept I would highly recommend Durham Electrics and intend using them on our next project Blu C (UK) Ltd.

Stephen supplied and fitted a bathroom light and fitted two kitchen lights for me. He was happy to suggest and discuss options by phone and was prompt, professional and friendly. Stephen initially suggested converting the existing light fitting to led rather than replacing but this was not possible. Excellent value and carried out the work at a time that suited me. Would not hesitate to recommend.

No job too small. Had a couple of jobs completed quickly and efficiently. My tumble dryer lost all heat and needed a new part which was needed to be ordered this was sent directly to me and called Stephen once delivered. He called in the same day between jobs. Excellent service so when the fuse went in my shower had no hesitation to give him a ring again.
